10K miles on a 2022 Hawk DLX 250 efi review. pros/cons. would I buy again?
exhaust cat cut out. pod style air filter. aftermarket spark plug. running on 93 octane gas. street tires aftermarket 18/21 inch front/rear size. stock disc brakes front and rear. aftermarket sprockets front and rear. 70mph top cruising speed at 7000rpm. air cooled. 5 speed. 223cc motor. 177 miles per full tank. tank size about 3 gallons.
oil change every 500miles. rotella 15w40 about 0.75 quarts.

Minibike with the harbor freight engine 212. runs good. header. reject to 90/.036, 40 rear tooth sprocket
12 thousand and counting on my 2022. Worst thing I had to fix was tracking down a new TPS . Dealer wants you to buy the whole intake part . Some tires and some loctite it’s been crushing it
What is the trigger on the Left side of the handle bars for??? It's by the break lock
I think you're referring to a trigger, it's for a high beam flash
Hows the mpg vs the hawk you have?
Hawk gets an amazing 58 miles a gallon. This seems less like 40
Do you need a motorcycle endorsement to drive it if it's a moped?
I believe for engine sizes 50cc and up. Get it, you will need it for bigger bikes. It's a two day weekend course they walk you thru it.

Still runs good I just don't ride it as much now. I got a 250cc vitacci ranger scooter.
New engine is only 500$
Mine has just barely made it to 2500 miles. I have replacing parts on it since day one. I wouldn't trust my DLX to be more that 20 miles from home.
No way dude. What issues u having. This is a super reliable engine people have driven it across country see Patrick Choi. I've done 250 miles roundtrip in a day. Ask on the Facebook groups lot of help on there too.
@Jay250cc constantly has issues with bogging or stalling or hesitation of some kind. I have done everything your supposed do to this bike. The computer has also been tuned. No loose wires or shorts anywhere.
@@CDLNEPA gas hose kinked on mine way under the gas tank after taking stuff apart
They say the stator exciter coil only last 5,000 miles.😢
Damn. I wouldn't doubt it. But still got the original on this one its going strong.

I got a new 250 vitacci ranger scooter. It's faster on the highways I'm needing to go on. Will review soon. Just uploaded a new review on my hawk 250 dirtbike if your into that. Been riding that a lot as of late no time to ride the little clash 200 😔😥

@@EEvil94if the highway speed limit is 60 go for it. Any faster u gonna need a bigger bike at least a 250cc motor
I have 2400 miles on mine and its still running pretty good, i did have to buy a new temperature sensor because the wire broke but other than that it seems to have slightly better quality than other clone gy6 mopeds
Think I got a defective one...less than 50 miles on it...already stalling..hard to start and battery drains quick
It's a little stubborn. I had to drill a hole in the gas cap to keep it from stalling from vapor lock. I also start it with a small tug on the throttle just to help it along
