If you cast feather fall, for some reason, the damage is higher. I had enlarge and colossus and did over 8k on crushing fight.

@@GIJofred Now I'm going to give you an honest opinion, I've never delved too deeply into this game but I've seen some youtubers play it. I'm from Brazil and I'm not sure if in Brazil it became a famous game around here because it's old but we know that it's not because a game is old that it's bad. The art of the game, mainly that of the characters in their speeches, seems to me to be unique because it is a style that at the time was different because it was considered weird and outside the norm. I saw a few minutes of this game but it seems to be very frenetic at first but from what I saw it becomes a very calm game when you know what happens and you know the patterns of the enemies. I wouldn't play this game at the moment due to studies but I'm willing to try it out one day because it's so cheap on Steam.

@@PlaguenD it is really cool to look back and think this was a game/genre that many people didn’t participate in or really appreciate which turned it into a cult classic. Looking at more modern side scroller games such as Katana Zero shows how much of the framework Hotline Miami put down for other games to mutate and change into their own. Good luck on your studies!

@@GIJofred I hadn't thought of that point of view about more modern games, indeed games like katana zero seem to take inspirations from games like Htline Miami. I also realized with your statement that another very strong connection is the music, I've always heard very good things about Hotline Miami's songs in the same way that I've seen that Katana Zero's songs are very good. The difference between these two is that Katana Zero I've seen and heard often even though I've never played it. But what really shows if a song is really good is seeing the scenario in which the song itself is proposed, something I haven't done yet with Hotline Miami that I still intend to experience even going forward.

I played this once on xbox back in 2018 so I knew the games feel but I do think I got more berries and a much better time/death than five years ago. I was thinking of trying to beat it under 3hrs so maybe I'll give it a go!
