That music is kind of loud and high tone pitch .. hope you have nature videos without music .. would be nicer to hear the river flow and not the annoying music ...
Thank you for the rlax
I forgot to film or change to wide angle or what it is😢😮
Wow, this is really cool and inspiring I’ve always wanted to see videos like this!
Glad you enjoyed it!

I worked with this man!, over 30 years ago. At Dole plantation, Whitmore Village. Knew him as "Franco", Bicoy
Beautiful, Paula! And a great song too!
You making me cry...love the last half the best. Thanks for sharing. Love you
Paula, did some checking and mom is RQ 21 and the pup was born 4/12/15 as you said. I should have realized this but had RT 22 on my mind from last year. Anyway RQ21 was born in 1997 to R006 the matriarchal head of a large clan of seals in the main Hawaiian Island. The pup born in 2015 is her twelve. See days 40 - 46 in life of monk seals to see her interacting with Casanova and the same pup just forty days old. Keep up the good effort. Aloha Dr. L
Paula, very interesting video. I believe the mom is RQ21, the pup born 4/12/15, her Lover RW32, and her pup born last April 2014. In my experience monk seals are not the solitary critters they have been made out to be. You can see more of the interaction between mom and Casanova in the Days 40 - 45? life of a Monk Seal which give great insight into these marvelous creatures. It also shows how mom teaches the pup to find solid food. The ultimate key to its survival. Aloha Dr. L
Great video documenting mother seal teaching her pup to find solid food while nursing. Note my videos in the side bar where I document in some detail the first fifty days in the life of a monk seal. Pacific Island Fisheries Science Center is just starting to understand the role of mother teaching the pup to find solid food while nursing. Keep up the good effort. Aloha Dr. L
Reviewing my videos of Kalaupapa I believe the female on shore is RT 22 born May 5, 2010. Her first pup was born on the same beach on May 3, 2014. I believe that male on the beach is that pup at about eleven months old. The seal in the water is RW 32 named Casanova based on my observations of his relation to RT22 and other females. I note in the interaction between the two males, the younger one appeared quite submissive. In my experience moms often have their pups with previous pups in the area. Videos on the events before and after the birth are posted on TH-cam. It will be great to watch this event unfold through your postings. Keep up the good effort. Aloha Dr.L
Great video! Do you know the numbers of the participants? Has mom had that pup? If you are not careful you will be down every day watching that pup learn to eat solid food while nursing! Aloha Dr. L
DrLeisure1 She had it the next day and I posted some on facebook and Molokai Mobettah FB page
DrLeisure1 I don't know which seals these were.
This is one of the best ones you did yet. Very informative, plenty of action, and no swearing. Hell! I would show this to the kids.
Very nice. Your videos make me homesick! What were the seals doing? Much Aloha Dr L
I didn't see any.....I was wondering where they go...
Enjoyed the views. You may be aware I was there filming Days 40 - 45 in the life of Hawaiian Monk Seal.easily found on TH-cam (do not know how to embed the link or would have) Keep up the good effort. It makes me home sick! Aloha to you and all my friends at Kalaupapa. Dr. L
