Was very impressed with the Spitfire Factory Tour. I have read about Biggin Hill for decades and it was a highlight of my UK trip for me as an Australian tourist. There was one sour note which bugged me afterwards though, the tour guide strongly expressed his support for Donald Trump ??? Fair enough to hold those views in private. For all his fantastic knowledge about Biggin Hill and its history, he showed no grasp of who the Allies were fighting against; a right wing populist wannabee dictator.

So any plan to bring white 14 back in the air after 4 years in the hanger.

I think I saw this being reburbished back then in the hanger during a tour. They had sent the engine away to the US for rebuild. As far as I know, if it is the same one, engine and airframe are pretty original.
