Was that a loaner tool to screw piston back in? Also did you have to reset the E brake once you were done.
@@ng5078 no you can purchase a piston retraction tool from your local automotive store and no I did not have to reset the ebrake once finished. Thanks for tuning in!!!
Do you think it is important to use OEM parts for this? If no, do you know where to get a great aftermarket map sensor?
@@tellmestraight in my opinion, for a map sensor, I would typically recommend using oem, but it’s not required. I typically go to a local warehouse called Berrodin! Thanks for tuning in!!! Appreciate your support!!
Congrats?
You did a great job, keepum coming

I couldn't get the caliper to retract
Did you have to put it in brake service mode?
@@joegallagher4302 hey, sorry responding so late, but to answer your question, no I didn’t have to put the car in brake service mode.
I am glad I saw 👀 this. Thank you
You are so welcome I’m glad you watched. Appreciate it!

Whats the lower metal part called, the one that the thermostat actually sits in?
Thermostat housing
Torx size? Thank you
For?
MAKE SURE YOU BLEED IT BEFORE PUTTING IT ON!
🔥🔥🔥
Never ever seen calipers seized to brake pads am smelling bull shit😂
😂😂you’d have to be a real brake service tech first.. “am” smelling bs for sure 😂😂Did anybody teach you anything. Have a blessed one kiddo
💪🏽🏁
Some rear brake pistons have adjustment bolts behind them. If so they need to be loosened.
Unfortunately this set of rear calipers in particular were seized to the brake pads smh
You did take the 2 bolts holding the caliper on in the back right?
Yes. The car sat for 8months before the customers decided they wanted to get it repaired so I had to deal with rusted & seized everything
How we get it offf?????
Bro you need like 5 cans of brake cleaner red seal grease soak those pistons in wd40 that calipers is done for be safe fr
All we need is a little guidance sometimes
🔥💪🏽
Can’t stop , won’t stop 💪🏽💫
Took all day to get that one sentence out 😂🍻
Not everybody gets to sit on their asses changing brakes all day long, a lot of people are out there grinding it!!

Thank you bucko😂
Yeaaaah... You did something there.
Why does every one of these “this is how to do it” videos has to do it wrong? Why is nobody taught to do the star pattern when tightening lug nuts? Even my 4 year old has watched me do my brakes and saw me do the star pattern with the lug nuts. He didn’t question it just tried following my lead with doing the other side. If you’re going to make a how to video or a life hack video, at least make sure it’s right or it works.
Appreciate it bucko😂
Do NOT follow this idjit's lead. 👎
A. Tighten in a “star” pattern to ensure even tightening. B. Hand tighten the lugs, then lower the car to-the ground, lean on it until it starts to roll, Plenty tight. Recheck after 50-ish miles. You will thank me later when you are trying to change a flat on side of a highway with semis bearing down on you. Impact wrench bad. Tire wrench good. Never-Seize is God’s balm.😁
Appreciate you 🤝🏽
GD there goes the rest of my brain cells
you're supposed to tighten lugnuts in a criss crossed pattern to avoid damaging the wheel and make sure it's actually on straight . what you did in this video is incorrect .
Appreciate it kiddo😂
🔥we workin
Man them pads look better than the rotors
🔥
Why not?
