Fantastic! Bit of acid stain and it would look like stone. Great work! Brave undertaking!
no need to use vcds?
How long of a job was this for you
5-6 hours. Didn’t really count. Everything is down to how easy bolts and screws come off. Or if they’re rusted stuck.
Is it the same as S3 8P facelift?
Yes
Can this causd the rear wheels not to engage at all? I believe this is my problem. Thanks.
Good job! Thank you for your video!
Hello buddy need this done on my car , are you interested in this project, where are you located? Thanks. Im in queens

Is Moutul Ester 4t synthetic 5w40 safe for this engine?
Some job lad. And a lot of work. Thanks for the tips.
That looks fantastic the way the rocks and concrete blend together ! 👍👍👍
Should have used a vibrator - that wall looks like a55.
Has it started tipping yet? I don't see a SINGLE deadman tie back or anchoring system. It doesn't seem to be retaining much soil, but if you get frost, it's going to push with incredible force, a millimeter at a time, time and time again, until it's leaning. Even #5 rebar will bend where it meets the stone.
Is this a custom exhaust? If not, where can I buy it? On my M5 e34 it's completely rusty😔
It’s a supersprint system. Older version. Too noisy for my taste. Sets car alarms of I parking garage😬
@@tomass5187 Thank you!
i have a opel with same diff i dont think its oil never been chanced and gearbox oil to it has 200000km
According to service manual the haldex and gearbox should have an oil service every 60000 km.
Now thats a retaining wall ,,,Excellent job
Thanks. Appreciate it!👍
lovely mate.
*_Former Landscape Architect... refreshing to see contractor not cut corners..._* Amazing construction, built to last forever. Anchoring in bedrock is always a challenge. Drilling, rebar rods, and epoxy or grout filler around rods holds them tight. Forming was a big job all by itself. *_Awesome job cutting bottom of forms to match contours of bedrock._*
Many thanks. It’s still standing😊
@@tomass5187 It was built to last.
Rubber bushings go in real easy if they have been in a freezer overnight before!
Wow beautiful and educational. Thank you so much for taking pains to record this for an audience.
Thank you. I liked the idea of using a screw to remove the outer filter. It worked very well.
I did the same. Great hack. Worked awesome. Thanks, mate!
Never, ever use an unoiled air filter for the 500ie engine! It’s bad for the engine. Dust gets in the system.
Thanks. Good tip👍
Hello can t you explain me what do you mean with a unoiled air filter please ?
@@wouzeleflouss1485 if you get like a sport malossi style mesh filter then they have no air filter oil on them. You maybe gain a bit more power but the engine sucks dust through the non oiled filter into the engine. If you get an original Piaggio air filter then it is already oiled. Of course you can buy a sports air filter and for example a Motul air filter oil and spray it in a plastic bag with the oil filter spray. You would have to use a lot. Better an original one.
I guess the diff after all is still leaking xD
Question: why keep the concrete wet? Thank you
To keep it cool during the hardening process. So it won’t crack👍
When you mix concrete you want as little water as possible, just enough to work it, to get maximum strength. After the concrete has set wetting it will provide water too the cement particles that did not get any water so gaining more strength.
Great job keeping this beauty on the road.
Thanks! Doing my best👍
Yo!! You know How can I change the Rugulator

Do you have the name or a link for the tool to remove the bushings? Im going to the same to my 520i
Search for “bushings removing kit” on eBay. You will find similar to what I have. I bought the kit for changing the bushings on my mini-digger, worked fine on the subframe as well. Good luck with your bmw!

How did you get the car out of your garage without the subframe? :O
I was working on the subframe under the car. The car was on the two-post lift.
good job!
Its rear diff not transmission , nice car
Thanks.
That is not Haldex oil! That is differential oil. It will damage the clutch pack. Do not put gear oil in Haldex coupling.
Really? Then I will change it. Thanks. Anyone you recommend?
Yip...definitely NOT Haldex oil.
Ravenol AWD-H
Thank you, i have changed the fluid, because it was filled in with differential oil 75w-90! i switched to Ravenol awd-h on haldex gen 4
Nice one Tomas
Try this homepage. it might give you some information. www.haldexrepairs.co.uk/what-generation-of-haldex-is-on-my-car/
