Installing a driveway with a John Deere 1025r
I really had fun with this project and turned out pretty well. The John Deere 1025r is plenty enough tractor for me. I’m approaching 9 hours on the machine and find myself looking for a reason to hop on.

In this video I am using the 1025r by John Deere to clean up some overgrown weeds and leaves in my backyard. I feel like I’m starting to get the hang of the machine a bit now. I’ve got about 7 hours on it now and learning as the newbie I am.

Blowing some snow with my little buddy. Always supporting any job. I initially bought one of these in September to be prepared for the winter. The first one I inboxed didn’t work so I took it back to Lowe’s and they gave me another one. I’d say these blowers work pretty good after using it 2 days in a row. Do you own one of these? How does it work for you?

Excellent video Sir. Just a top tip or trick for you next time: when your old oil has finished draining, pour some clean oil into the engine to completely flush the old oil out - half a quart should do it.

How heavy is this plow?
Not heavy, these can weight around 1200 to 2200 pounds depending on the model

Marcus , ran into a problem with my home plow . The connection at 4:13 was severed coming from the battery . The controller still has the connection. The problem is , when I matched the colors to each other, the plow isn’t working. I’ve contacted Meyers numerous times and they just have color codes for the wires , not the orientation. I spoke to a Meyers repair guy and he said there is zero support for this plow and he has a hard time getting parts for it. He said the colors don’t match 100%. He feels they treat it as a disposable plow. I have the email. Could you tell me what the orientation of the wires are.. example, battery side blk to controller side orange, battery side blue to controller side red, etc. I’m stuck and can’t get any support from the manufacturer. We are getting hit with a nor’easter . Just my luck .Can you or anyone who has this plow reply to my comment . Thanks in advance .

Congratulations on your tractor purchase. A good place to start learning about what a 1025 will do is to watch the youtube channel Tractor Time With Tim. He's done more than I thought possible with a tractor that size. Good luck & have fun.

Thanks for the video. In the time that you've had it, have you found that the sockets 'fall off' easily if tilted forward, or is the tool still gripping them?
My sockets were a bit warn down, but I still got a decent grip...but I got a much better grip tilting it forward

From another video, 4.6 quarts or so.
4.7L(4.5-4.6 quarts) kinda big engine for the size of the car.
