Protect your head & keep your distance as much as possible, gotta use your jab as your distance keeper/ what you work off.

I try to implement some realism in these games for my love of the sport; having grown up in it and been involved in it for so long. Unfortunately, the game has a lot that can be abused. But us real fans will be okay after a few patches (hopefully). The big thing is just finding likeminded guys like ourselves to get some matches in with.

@@emilacevedo1562 yessir! Unfortunately the PC version is the worst experience though. Desync everywhere. So just playing on Xbox and a little bit of ps5.

@@emilacevedo1562 it’s not very good right now. It was better during the beta and required a skillset to prevent specific shots from getting around.

@@emilacevedo1562 it was better in the beta to be honest. It looks awful now during the block and now every jab gets in.

@@daviddavis3093 I use the Zoom Out camera and play with the buttons primarily. I Use the right stick to throw uppercuts, though.

@@mr11981 you can change your taunts before each fight, bro. When you select your boxer, before you hit ready go to the one that looks like a chat box. It’ll give you a list of taunts to choose from.

Thanks man, I'm definitely think he will be , Getting this game next week and he's at the top of my list to run. His versatility and inside outside should make him problem hope his defence is legit.

@@malcolmroberts2102 yeah it’s bad bro. This was during early access - the ghost punching was in EA too but every now and then you ran into someone with a decent connection. Online is garbage right now.

@@BayouBaldwin before they had removed the feint, you could cancel the punch by hitting the block button. Now to stop on the dime you just use the left trigger.

@@im_cold_blooded other than stamina not going down properly when someone throws 700punches and 400 are power having no comfortable way to feint is a massive bummer for a boxing game all I wanted from undisputed was feints and directional blocking :(

@@BayouBaldwin There's a lot of stuff that early access did really well in it's infancy. The final product is missing some of that magic. When EA first came out, punches had to be put together very precisely because they didn't track very well. Head movement by just leaning with very useful. Even movement and just the players subtle animations could create a slip/miss. They buffed tracking in the first patch because of players complaining. Fast forward to teh stuff we have now and it's pretty obvious that they need to revert a few things back LOL.

@@only2comment98 loose movement is the new dodge. It feels a bit floaty more times than not but it’ll do! Lmao. Also there are two types of side steps in the game. I’ll finally post some ish on Monday. There’s a different sidestep you can do directly after punching that doesn’t get tracked by punches.

@im_cold_blooded walking around shouldn't replace a reactionary input to dodge punches. I get what you're saying but it feels awful. The leaning is incredibly slow too, and clicking the stick for a "weave" seems to only work if you do it backwards. I've been following this game for like a year and a half and so hyped for it, defended it online this whole time, and now that it's out I cannot BELIEVE this is the final result of 2 years of playtesting.

@@only2comment98 I use paddles, so I don’t know how responsive clicking the stick is at the moment. But with paddles it feels pretty good. But it doesn’t actually work. You still get hit.

@@mr11981 a lot of yes and no, here. I’ll attempt to address the changes on Monday when I finally drop a video. The issue right now is that everyone is spamming power punches and the devs have stated that the punches going through the block is not working as intended. I am unsure if they are referring to the old stuff not working (I.e; what’s in this video) or not. I can say that blocking the head, all of this still applies. And with Philly shell fighters, the body is no longer as protected.

He told me I should change my name back to Intoccabile and try and recruit all of the old heads from the round 2 and 3 days LOL. We know and appreciate boxing on a different level than the new crowd.

@@reggieholmes1951 in the official launch version of the game blocking is going to be a bit different. Can hit LB to block body or just use the stick. I’ve noticed LB has a input delay. Also, leaning to the side while blocking so that the elbow drops to the hip use to work on early access - it doesn’t seem to work as well anymore.

@@im_cold_blooded I still watch your pressure video some good tips in there. Haven't played it yet, but from the streams online looks mega buggy (desync, even worse ghost punches than before) Have you played career mode any?

@@MrMeNopartOfThisWorld I like UFC with the HUD off. This game was a little too inconsistent back then to trust having my own health off. Not enough detail in facial dmg etc to know what’s really going on, for me. Hopefully they fix that with the official release cause HUD off is def the best way to go.
