Guelph's largest mall. Not a dead mall, except the parts in the video. The main hallway is not dead and is already archived in other videos, so I didn't film it. Dollarama Photo by Ken Russell. Music by Suno.

That mall had CD Plus though :)
Are there even any businesses in this mall? So odd to see what is essentially just a school, like I know that's what it was but it STILL looks that way. I don't see businesses.
There are some businesses, but not all of them were open at the time.
Hello! I'm a longtime resident of Osceola, Arkansas (16 years). The mall's address is 1120 West Keiser Avenue - next to 1098, where you can find MCW (Mid-South Championship Wrestling), active every Friday night, hosted by Cornbread Chris Heineken. I'm quite interested in the mall, mainly because I play the Lester piano in there every Friday when I get a chance to go, and it means a lot to me. My mother used to take me to get haircuts here whenever I was younger, but the man who did them for me has long since retired. My mother also commissioned a cake from Amber's Sugar Shack whenever I was much younger. The mall is admittedly quite dead, although there *is* still business here. The Grip Game is the only business I see with people in it. I went there earlier today (Monday) and the lights were on. I believe the owner was in there, or somebody else. It's quite surreal to see somewhere very familiar to me in the state it is, but I've always had a fascination with dead malls. It's strangely comforting. It seems that the pandemic "killed" it, considering that most of the doors have Covid-19 restrictions/guidelines on them.
Interesting story. I didn't play piano there because there was not enough time. Where is Amber's Sugar Shack in the mall? What is The Grip Game? What businesses did Covid kill? What other dead malls have you been to?
@@deadmallition Amber's Sugar Shack should be on the far left of the mall. I believe it's also dead, but my mother says otherwise. I think you can actually see the sign for it on the far left outside, which is where I estimate it is. I've never been in there before. The Grip Game is a barbershop. One dead mall I've been to is the one in Dyersburg, aptly named the Dyersburg Mall. Covid seems to have killed just about every business in the Old Village Mall however.
@@deadmallitionFun fact - I'm the reason that chair is in front of the Lester piano. It's actually meant to be between those two, but I guess I stopped moving it back after some time.
@@RingOffRosie Where is The Grip Game in the mall?
@@deadmallitionIt's literally just around the corner, past the right side entrance of the mall. First business to the left of the Lester piano. The white suite. :)
Sucks that they couldn’t have left any cool features of the old factory showing inside.
@@charlestonpinballarcade The basement has not changed, but it has a business in it.
Is every commercial building a “mall” in Canada? 😂😂😂
Yessss!!!! Thank you for posting this. What a weird mall.
So was the Mr. Rogers mall also connected to the Livingston Outlet Hallway? I can’t find info on the Livingston hall other than the large “Livingston” malls.
Livingston Outlet Mall is in Livingston, Texas.
Did Mr. Rogers design this place? Thanks for posting the video! I love seeing these oddity mall hallway type places!🎉🎉
Hey, I remember you telling me that you had a custom built THX logo sign out of metal that has lights in it. I’d really love to see what it looks like at some point.
It was made with a plasma cutter in manufacturing class but it has no lights.
Hmmmm… very interesting. An old time arcade style mall that flows into a bit of regular”ish”mall / office space type building? I like it!
The mall was originally a 2-story regular mall. The front part was renovated into an old arcade in 2002, a few years after Eatons went out of business, and the second floor was officed.
I can imagine at one time those tile patches under the skylights had beautiful brick planters.
The upbeat happy muzak in the background while listening to all of the bad things that happened concerning the mall was great comedy! Nice work! 😂😂😂 You
I saw some videos about the Paris Catacombs and they also had happy music and I thought that was funny.
@@deadmallition it’s always good to see who syncs with ones sense of humor! 👍
Yodeling Loon sent me! 😂😂😂 Good video! Subscribed. 🎉🎉🎉
0:00 I recognize that song.
How do you recognize a song I made on Suno?
Good video! I like that its a complete walkthrough. I Also like that you showed off prior images. Good stuff! This place looks like an Aronov Mall except in Mallway form.
Thanks for the feedback! I thought about adding a speech to the video, but I thought the old photos were enough and there would not be much else to add. What exactly makes it look like an Aronov mall?
@@deadmallition the colors and the floor patterns. Reminds me of Selma Mall in Alabama
I like the floor. I think a slower walkthrough would benefit your channel a lot. It is your content though, however you feel you wanna make it. I would have thoroughly enjoyed a full walkthrough of this mall though
It was a full walkthrough, but I didn't have enough time to walk slowly
I also took pictures of the food court because I didn't want to scare anyone eating, by making a video
I remember watching planet of the apes in the downstairs movie theatre. Great childhood memory, so said too hear it's closed.
Beautiful artwork at the end of the hall. Who is the artist?
I don't know
