I don't understand how it wouldn't be viewed as a heartbreaker when your QB takes you down field, scores, then goes down field again for a game tying FG, just to have Matt Eberflus and his soft zone 2 defense cost you the game in overtime. Should they have won going Into the game? No, But should they have won after the way they played in the second half? Yes.

1, thank you for the feedback. 2, I would be more than willing to move on from Nico if it meant getting a bat to truly make a difference. And with shaw I agree, I'd like to see him but not in a bench warmer But I disagree with that 27-28 time frame. I believe you have Tallent on the roster to get you there in 2025, but you do need a power bat, 1 rotation guy, and 1-2 solid bullpen arms

@TheAverageFan4 I believe there is enough talent for 25 as well. I think that requires catching some breaks though. I think in regards to the infield that you could trade nice and move Busch to 2nd, bring bellinger in to first and bring Cassie up to play RF. I'm not big on moving Busch but if that allows you to trade nico for pitching, I can't think it's bad.

@travismacklin3413 i don't know if it's so much as catching breaks as it is the offensive production taking two whole months off in the summer. But I definitely would trade nico if you get more pitching help, I would not try to get position players out of Nico

I truly believe giving up two infield utility guys, their in on someone like Adames ( mainly because of the connection to counsell) so I also anticipate a Hoerner trade if their in on Adames

@TheAverageFan4 That does make a lot of sense about Adames,but where would they play him though? He plays SS, but you have Swanson there, and he can't be traded because of his contract. Adames said that he's willing to play 3rd. but the Cubs have Paredes there. Do you think that the Cubs would trade Paredes, who's 4 years younger than Adames? The way that Jed constructed this roster, he's really boxed himself in! I'm all in on trading Nico, but would they get a fair price since he's coming off the tendon surgery? I think that any team that would be interested would definitely want to see him play first, to make sure that he's healthy. If they do trade Nico, they can play Bush at 2nd, and put Paredes at 1st, which would open up 3rd for Adames, or they could bring up Matt Shaw to take over 2nd base. I just don't know what the best options are.

If you don't mind, I'd like to make a video on this comment alone, that's a few good points, but I though Adames said he would play 3rd or 2nd? Also, the cubs just tendered Paredes so I doubt he would be traded simply because his offensive production is more consistent than what morel was. And also, I think Jed kinda unboxed him self a little because we had a log jam with Wisdom/Madrigal/Mastro all at that utility infield spot. Plus I would keep Busch at first at all costs, he was in gold glove talks at one point, and shaw was added to 40-man, you can use him in a utility roll like wisdom, or to give Busch a day or two rest. There's definitely options though since wisdom and madrigal are gone. Though, I would have DFA'd Mastro over Tauchman.

Side note: if you can get solid bullpen help OR MLB ready arms for Nico, i will be happy, I don't want position players out of a nico trade

@@Commenter007 OR, If you trade Nico and sign Adames, you could use shaw as a bench guy/ rotation guy with Busch or Adames when they need days off. And then later trade Paredes at the deadline and shift Adames to 3rd.

Well, you are 100% right Oline NEEDS to be priority, for sure! my only push back on the blocked FG, it hit the cross bar, and, inside of 40 yards Cairo gets the ball up higher, so I do believe those yards would have helped. But I mean it's not just yesterday's game, eberflus always plays not to loose, he doesn't play to win. And it's shown it's ugly face many times in the last 2 seasons. See and the problem is, when there performance after performance, AND a number 1 QB pick. You gotta start going up the chain and looking at Poles, Warren, and the Mckasky's because eberflus should not have been back with as many coaching fires he had in just 2 seasons...

@ Flus should have been gone or demoted last year. I’m not sold on golf with some one like Ben Johnson of Detroit. They play in a dome and Goff was good already so I’m not sure going with a Ben Johnson with no HC experience is the way to go. I’m probably one of the few that wants respect and that would be Belichik- he wouldn’t have made this dumb mistakes that Flus had and the team will have an immediate fear and respect. It’s going to be another interesting off season.

Oh I agree 100%, the issue is there is that the upper management and ownership has basically said that they wouldn't go for a loud and firey HC. The Bears locked them selves into a certain type of HC, like Ben Johnson

100% SHOULD have gotten more yards with 36 seconds, a time out, and a Caleb Williams that was ROLLING those last couple drives.. I do NOT understand Matt Eberflus and his game loosing decisions....

This is pretty fair, I would say i have gotten really lucky with the quality of my Jerseys, as in none have fallen completely apart, but I agree there are deals to be found on authentics for sure. I am a firm believer in repping the team even if it's on a budget. From my perspective I see the appeal in both authentic and knockoffs

Thank you, my friend! I'm slowly getting out of the phase of using filler words and talking about the game throughout, we're getting there! I'm always working on a recording setup on my computer to do some editing as well. Even though my S24 U has some amazing quality, I have little to no editing ability on my phone. @DeionHarris oh don't get me wrong, I definitely agree with you. It's bad, like really bad, I my self just won't let my frustration get to a point of breaking or burning things. However is it justified that people do it? Oh hell yeah it is. I still think there's too much talent on the roster to be this bad, and that stems from really terrible coaching, because any competent coach WILL utilize players the way they are suppose to, and Shane Waldron refuses to do so. It starts with coaches, and I want them gone tomorrow

@Drueber oh we are going to have fun commenting back and forth during them divisional games, and you're right, the north is strong this year, I can really see it being a dog fight if the lions loose 1 or 2. It's going to be so fun. I use to live in Wisconsin, so Bear down, and go pack go!

@@TheAverageFan4 It’s by far the most entertaining division for coming years. I can really see the north maybe getting 2 wildcard spots. Keeping my fingers crossed for the bears, I just wish it to be everybody but Detroit but they seem inevitable. I’m from Germany so I was pretty free to chose my team just wanted it to be a north team since I love the winter season and green bay as the community owned team with nice colors was just appealing. Just good feelings for the bears and Vikings too.
