Hello! My name is Matthew Buckwalter. I am an independent composer of hymns, and I am looking for patrons for my work. In particular, I compose what I call "Singers Hymns"- that is, hymns with enough harmonic and melodic complexity to please a seasoned singer while remaining accessible and pleasing to the average listener as well. Along with works that could present a challenge to college and professional choirs, there are also plenty of hymns the average congregation could include in their Sunday worship. Some patrons have also been happy to use recordings of my hymns as preludes and postludes to their services, and even some individuals who have seen value in my work offer their patronage as well. In short, there is something here for everybody, and I would be honored if you would take the time to listen to some of my hymns included here.
