Not worried about efficiency personally, my 1000 run for around 3.5 minutes which is plenty. Some people might be more interested in efficiency though and in some cases, for example drift chasing, you want to get the most out of every pack. I do run bigger packs at the track but will also take more efficient props if it means I can squeeze out a little bit more.

In this case it was simply because I had previously used these motors on a smaller build and the motor wires weren't long enough. Generally speaking though, aside from being used to extend the motor wires, racewire is used to prevent the wires from being cut by a bent prop in a crash.

😂 different strokes for different folks. If you can't handle freestyle and want to see the result without so much movement, check any of my drift videos. That's what I use the DC for. Regardless, the point of this particular video was to compare the dynamic abilities of the deadcat geometry against the compressed-x of the standard frame. Flying around like a Mavic wouldn't really help achieve that.
