5.29 THE QUEEN ON THE RIGHT IS LAYING A EGG
I’m your 500 subscriber
Thanks for the support!
Be careful they are escapologist through parts you might not have considered and they are considered invasive species in many countries
I know
I like isopods and springtails very good cleanup crews
Great Video! Also be wary that the colony producing males this early on could be a sign of the queen having bad fertility, but let’s hope she’s laying male eggs because she is being well fed instead of the other scenario, if some of the Alates become female you don’t have to worry because that would show the queen chose to produce the alates instead of laying male eggs unwillingly due to infertility.
Thanks for the heads up!
@@Antsusa377 No Problem!
You must start to sell stuff!!!!!!!!!!!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤
Cool
Watch ant hood's solenopsis geminata playlist (yes it an different species but invicta and geminata are extremely similar). You may rethink keeping these guys
@randomg700 I won't! (Rethink keeping them)
@@Antsusa377 Good on you, my man. I am about to get Invicta aswell. I know the sentiment about them of most, but I still want to get them, instead of geminata. (or possibly both, but definately Invicta)
@thedoomlord8618 yeah they are definitely overhyped, but I will say, THEY ARE STILL NO JOKE!
What are those big larave maybe majors?
As explained in the video, they are alates.
Also I think male alates bc they look to small of a colony and this is also kinda copy writing ants Canada for there are so many words your saying that almost the same as ants Canada be careful and a little more creative for your fire ants but still enjoying it keep up the work
@@CJBhlen such as?
Be careful of your connections on the test two. Especially with fire ants. Siri
I will thank you!
Yeah my fire ants chewed right through hot glue
I have a really similar colony that's a lot younger then yours but they spared one of the queens and still have two queens! I can't wait until they reach the immense size your colony has!
did you wrote an comment at antscanada?? bc i think i saw you there
@@blackwolf591 I do comment lots on antscanada! sometimes its jokes or questions or other things! nice to see you here as well!
Yeah I have seen polygynous colonies int eh wild...
they still can kill het off, i have had also small colonies of 2 queens and getting killed off with workers already
@@youridepouri1366 usually they start the killing process around 20 or 40 workers, for me they did at least but they left two queens alone and I have only seen them feeding the less dominant queen. my colony is about 90 or 100 workers so i think they are fine now at least i hope
7th comment! I love ur content❤❤and also, do u think the dead queens were used for nutrients making the ants be able to grow so quikly?
They didn't eat them, they grew so fast because I feed them alot and because they are Fire Ants!
7th comment! I love ur content❤❤
Thx!
Wow just another amazing video man! Keep up the great work!
Thanks!
this is epic
@@PHOEBE-te7vp Thank you!
Nice vidéo. I think in another couple months they will be moving again lol
@popoalki206 Yeah maybe lol!
@@Antsusa377screw that they’ll have to move out in a month
What is the red thing?
Ants can't see red light, so with the red cover I can see them but they think that they are in the dark.

Hello hello, amazing video! Ur gonna be famous one day trust me, i used to keep ants but gave up one day. But 12th comment!
Thanks for the support!
Feed them Alive bugs
I don't do that
@@Antsusa377 why not?
@ES_AY because it could harm the ants and that's not something you post on youtube
Yo I also love trapjaws and are also my favourite species and I recently got a colony for my birthday, my colony has about 40-50 workers my colony usually has 10-15 workers outside foraging and have 2 female alates
Nice, What species?
@@Antsusa377 I’m not sure because I bought them from just ants but he didn’t tell me what species they were
@@Antsusa377 also should a colony with 40-50 workers have 2 queen alates?
@@thomasplayz7996 depending on the species, yes.
@@thomasplayz7996 what color are they?
Great video very informative on trap jaws thank you
You're welcome!
We have ants canada Ants usa (And another one i forgot it tho😭😭)
Ants Phillipines?
Bro said hunting ground the put in crushed food
I try not to feed live food
Where did you buy the mini outworld?
I made it
@@Antsusa377 ok thank you for telling me
I wouldnt put the honey so close, out of personal experience. I dropped the honey close and it expanded and one coccoon of my carpenter queens wasnt able to hatch and died.
Thank you for your concern. If you put enough honey that they can eat all at once, this will not happen. If you give them more honey than they can eat at one time, you will have the problem that you described.
@@Antsusa377 it was when i had my first queen ant anyway, thanks for the tip!
i am in a very similar predicament myself right now but it seems she is just taking care of a pupae pile
The queens killed each other? Interesting...
@@Antsusa377 not yet its just a couple of queens on a different brood pile
I’m gonna tell my family I’m quitting everything in life to try this. I’m going to spend my life with ants.
Good luck 😆
Any tips I can get my carpenter ants first ants hatched
Feed them a small amount of honey that they could eat all at once, and the following week give them half of a mealworm(make sure it's dead).
@Antsusa377 thanks
Ants USA makes my day when he posts
Thank you!!!
I have a good question, how do I take care of Formica Fusca ants? And are they polygynous? And I do have 3 queens, one I don't believe is a Formica Fusca queen but I may be wrong. She may be another species
I also caught them up in the north of the USA
The care of formica is similar to that of camponotus, just give them both sugar and protein, do not overfeed, and do not disturb the colony much; only once per week until the colony gets to be large.
Looks cool since it’s anting season you should try to find new colonies to make vids about
I already have a few colonies I'm making kids about!
@@Antsusa377 I’ll stay tuned
Great new outworld Is there a reason for a long connection tube.
To have more flexibility with the setup, and to give the ants enrichment. Tbh I didn't make it long enough.
@@Antsusa377 thank you just part of my learning curve 😄
Not a fan of the classical music tho

Thank you!
Im in the process of making a new wood nest for mine. Shes a little over a year and around 30 workers strong. Best of luck my friend. New outworld looks great!
Thank you and good luck!
Aww so cute my colony also just got workers❤❤😊🎉
Good luck!
fat little ants.
they are so cute and ambitious.
I wish I could identify my colony they are small like yours
@@thegoatslayer7403 where are you from?
