Was hoping to see a good shot of your kayak with the bar! Still looking to get one myself but was hoping to see you get in and out of it too! Just to see if it would benefit me with my knackered knees!
Maybe next time, although I have recently bought an inflatable kayak and I'm struggling going back to the rigid :/
Absolutely wonderful views amazing to watch makes you feel you are really there in the water enjoying the experience great work so carry on.....
Glad you enjoyed it
Thanks, loved the video.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Hey just watched your vid. Intrigued on the frame you have on the front of your boat! I have knee issues and struggle to get out so this would be a great advantage to pull up on. Also what kayaks do you both have! Thanks.
The frame I have on my boat I got because I too have a knackered knee and I pretty much couldn't kayak without it. It's called a stand-up bar. Because our kayaks are designed for fishing, some people like to stand and fish and it who this bar is aimed at. Mine is made specifically for my yak. I have a Jonny Boats Bass 100 and I think Keith's is the Vibe Sea Ghost 110. :)
@@kentwalks9975 brilliant. Thanks for that. I’ve been searching kayaks today and found the feel free lure range has an amazing seat. So with the bar and one of those kayaks should see me right. By the way the Medway is our local river too! 👍
Another great vid mate with some fantastic sights. Informative and entertaining as always.
Easy peasy! Leeemon squeasy!
Excellent, best video yet!!! No wonder you caught with your SnaggedBro glasses on!! Maybe you'll see me fall in on the next adventure :)
Only coz ur in it!
Great video! Quality has continued to improve and it's just super relaxing long form content! Will we ever start to see more videos of you outside of Kent? Maybe even the UK?!
I got Rugby in the editing room and lots more in and out of Kent planned
Cracking video as always. Been such a long time since I have been to Brockhill Country Park.
Glad you liked it :)
love the history on this ,great speaker. new sub 🙏
Otford Manor used to be called "Treacle Towers" by locals. I don't know first-hand, but what I was told as a boy was that this was due to it being owned (or built?) by one of the owners of Tate & Lyle.
I did this walk the other day, although the ground was very boggy due to heavy rain. I turned left after walking through the churchyard, though, because of the muddy conditions. Such a great walk nonetheless, really looking forward to going further, to Brockhill, next time round ❤
Very nice, I’ll be walking Brockhill to Lympne in the next couple of weeks :)
@@kentwalks9975 how weird if we pass each other! I always greet other walkers, especially with their dogs ❤️
love the ride well done. Keep them coming love the music as well proper chill out sounds. Looking at doing the same this year 2024 but the other way round as I live North Wales so going to go the west coast. 👍
Very nice, Devon and Cornwall are stunning in their their own rights. Got a few more vids coming soon (if I can find the motivation to edit), Northern Ireland this year and possibly India late 2025 but plenty of UK stuff in between
Need to pull my finger out and get out walking. Will use your vids when I do as I live in Maidstone. Cheers
Hi mate, love the video. Where is this?
All I am permitted to say is it's a Cranbrook and District Angling Club venue. Hope you understand
@@kentwalks9975 Yeah of course I do! Thanks.
At least it wasn't a bream :)
Catching bream and livin' the dream lol
Can't tell you how grateful i am for a sweet drive through Kent with my morning coffee, here in ohio!! Thanks so much..I so miss Kent!!! ❤❤❤
Excellent work so far mate, look forward to seeing how it progresses.
Thanks 👍
What month is this?
July
Great trip out. Best wishes for your adventures in 2024.
Thank you! You too!
Really good to see the parts of the route my journey didn't take, looking forward to the next episode.
Would’ve been an epic weekend if…….
Mantap, hati-hati dijalan nya, sehat selalu salam dari indonesia
i will try, stay safe and be happy
❤Bloody loving this series lad.. I like how you choose good vibe music. You shot in 1080 @ 30 uploaded in you tube recommendation. This gives av 1 codec.. When you render after editing. Choose 1440@60 at 100k/s bit rate.. This will force you tube to give you v9 codec. All the pixrlation and artifacts will disappear.. The quality will double.. You tubes own renderer will enhance your your video.... 💟 💟 💯 😁 It's called up scaling at the render stage. 👍
Thank you so much for the tip. I've always been disappointed how they look on YT coz on the PC the edits looks great. Will definitely do this for future releases
That’s a route I take a lot, I live just north of Kilmartin and do that loop quite a lot when I fancy a spin out on the bike.
You are a very lucky chap! It's so nice
So glad for you!!! Thank you for sharing this epic adventure!! Grandest wishes for a smooth and speedy recovery, congratulations on your fortitude! And wow, your bike ...glad it was such a loyal horse, kudos!!!🐕🐕🐕 3 happy dogs, no doubt!! ...💤
If you ride a motorcycle you're going to come off at some point. If you get to walk away, you get to ride again and you gotta do what make you smile. The dogs were very happy, big cuddles and treats were had
The epic adventure is at an end. Excellent series!!
Thanks I really enjoyed it and can't wait for the next one
Woow 😯😯 what a natural view!!
Massive ride up from Kent!! Used to love the Pan, great bike. Enjoying watching the videos 👌👍
The Pan is an amazing maching. She didn't miss a beat and was flawless. A got a couple of mods to do to make her slightly better (new custom seat and an Android Auto screen so I can keep my phone in my pocket in case me and the bike become separated again)
awesome!!! keep up🔥🔥
Thanks! Will do!
nice place 😊
It really is!
What a view man!! 😯😯
The West coast of Scotland is absolutely stunning. I was in absolute awe, a beautiful place to ride. Would've liked to explore more. I will definitely be going back. I miss it already
Where's your piss bottle?
It's an app called Toilet Finder ;)
There's another thing here though...we've been getting blasted by the sun with cme's..and at such a strength right now, that it is known to cause foggy headedness, confusion, and difficulty concentrating. We'll have another couple days of it, so please be uber aware of this... lots of extra electro magnetic energy warping out our brains and bodies...
Oh dude!! Hope you're okay 😰😰😰😰😰❤
Yeah I'm fine. Annoying bit is I now all about target fixation and knew it was happening at the time and I still couldn't look away. If I had it would not have upset the bike in the slightest and easily avoided. Easier said than done though
@kentwalks9975 very glad you were able to continue :)
Well done KO, hope you felt a bit better with that hint of sun and no rain at Troutbeck.
I really enjoyed it and learnt a lot of lessons. I didn't 'explore' Scotland on foot barely at all because of leaving kit on the bike or carrying it and I really missed out. Northern Ireland next year and although I will be camping it be all based at one campsite so I should have empty(ish) panniers to store my kit and get changed so I can explore in more suitable attire
I live near caistor I would put you up for the night
Lovely part of the world
Can't wait for the chance to see the remainders, too! Thx!
Long ride, well done!!!
Stateside fan, just saw this..watching in the morning! Too late at night to fully engage, brb..meanwhile, an xtra comment ahead! 😘
Very interesting video. I’m from North London originally, Barnet but have lived in Kent near Bromley for about 7 years now plus a year in beautiful Farningham. Since spending a week in the stunning Lake District recently I’ve been totally bitten by the hiking bug along with my wife and dog. I’ve been looking for interesting walks and hikes in my local area Scadbury Park,Elmstead Woods, Toys Hill plus recently discovered the car park at Badgers Mount as a base to explore Shoreham and the surrounding areas.
Knole Park is an amazing walk from Toys Hill, I'm editing that one at the moment ;) There's some pretty good walks across the Downs from Otford too. Kemsing is an other that isn't too far
@@kentwalks9975 thanks for the reply I'll check those recommendations 👍
Beautiful, thank you!!! I fell in love with Tintern and the Wye valley when a mere 15yr old, then later found out that our family name of Whitney, goes all the way back to land along the Wye! (Wytteneye, various sp) SO I CAN'T WAIT to see where tomorrow's adventure is!!! We were living in Hever, Kent at the time, but then I had to return stateside, alas!! Always dream to come home again 😊 LOVE YOUR RIDES, thanks again and stay safe yourself! ❤
Glad you enjoyed it!
LOVE YOUR NEW INTRO !!!! Awesome 😊 BEAUTIFUL BIKE 😍 I'm drooling... it's a beaut! HEY, amazing camera tricks, footage and editing, and I REALLY NEEDED THAT RIDE !!! Thanks ever so much! Cheers to you and Gigi 😘
Thanks so much!!
Great video, nice to see you back. I think Covid took it out on most of us. Nice surroundings and the motorway noise seems to blend into the background as to become unobtrusive. I found your walks channel some 4 years ago and have done most of them. Kent today does seem a lot more crowded and in some areas the title of "Garden of England" seems long forgotten.
Thanks 👍
Just be glad it wasn't a mini tunnel through snagging, bee laden brambles, 🤣!!! My cousin and i both had long hair, and our initial bravery was eventually the source of great rue, (and eventually, panicked screams) lol !!! Utterly, impossibly entangled, bees buzzing in our faces and ears, caught in our hair along with the jaggedy snatching boughs of thorns which truly seemed to leap right out at us, yet we were not stung...think the bees were trying desperately to free each strand, lol
This is lovely!!! ❤ I used to live in (what was then, and had been) the Rectory in Hever, and so miss it! Thx much😊
Glad you enjoyed it
I went on this exact walk. Its very nice but it was much busier.
A delightful and charming film. Well done and thank you. I am just planning a visit based partly on this!
Nicely done, thank you. One thing, at times the music slightly drowns out your commentary - you gave some really interesting and useful information but it was often difficult to hear.
Nice!
Thank you! This was so helpful! Lovely walk
