Filming Location - Dogma (1999)
This is the bridge on Nike Site Road, just outside of Rennerdale, PA. Up until a few years before Covid, there was a WW2 Army base at the top of the hill, hence Nike Site.
But, this was the filming location for where Jay and Bob got into a brief argument with Linda Fiorentino when Chris Rock fell out of the sky and introduced himself to the trio. Gregg Station Road connects to Nike Site Road partway up the hill, visible even in the theatrical scene. Also visible in the scene at the time was the railway that was in the middle of being converted into the Panhandle Trail, which opened to general public use in October of 1999. As of Covid-19 occurring in 2020, the bridge underwent a 2 year reconstruction process, and a Ryan Homes neighborhood also went up in the forested area seen in the background on Gregg Station Road.

Relaxing Overcast Ambience - September, 2024
มุมมอง 8หลายเดือนก่อน
A brief but relaxing ambience. Recorded 9/29/24, today’s weather is what I consider highly ideal, especially for driving in. It’s been a decent, almost continuous, drizzle since yesterday evening, while overcast and the temperature hovering around 70 degrees. The only thing that would make today’s conditions more ideal would be to cruise around Confluence, PA and its surrounding areas, or areas...

Found this truck a few years ago with only 13,500 miles! Once it’s no longer used as a work application, it’ll get a side step bed conversion, revised to accommodate the wheelbase length, 5” exhaust stacks behind the cab, the 350ci v8 will be fully blueprinted and CNC machined, with interior components being changed for black accented parts, a chrome steering column and a wood grained bezel cover.

A POV traveling from Rt. 989 in McDonald, PA, through Oakdale, part of North Fayette Township and into Rennerdale. At one point, just before entering Rennerdale, Nike Site Road is partially traveled on, namely the bridge area, which was a filming location used for the 1999 Kevin Smith movie, Dogma, namely when Chris Rock’s character is introduced.

I was there
That's a 1989 year model because 1989 was the first year for those emblems, grille, headlight bezels, & front blinker lights with those designs, & the last year for square body one ton plain cabs which makes that vehicle there unique. Rewind to 1987, they stopped producing the half ton & three quarter ton plain cabs. 1991 was the last year for the square body models which the last ones that were left in production were the crew cabs, Suburbans, Blazers, & Jimmys.
Can't beat a Squarebody. Put a pair of solid axles on a regular cab long bed to have an excellent off-road/bad weather setup, and have a 2WD 4-door cab 8' long bed dually with manual windows for ane excellent cruise to the beach!
@ProfessionalDriver101 I bet square body models with the base single square shaped headlights like that one there are hard to find because I very seldom see any on the roads these days.
@@KevinRichards-my5oj I only found that one because the original owner, who bought it for his glass business, retired back in the fall of 2020. As far as I'm concerned, it's as ideal of a truck as it can get (with the exception of being a 4 door cab with the long bed), although I'd prefer to make the bed similar to the Lil Red Wagons from '78 and '79, and with 5" exhaust stacks. But I know what you mean because on the occasions I see other Squarebodies come up for sale online, they're always higher mileage, or damaged, or both, and are similarly priced or higher priced than this truck. There was even a 1998 Chevrolet Suburban 2500 that a dealership on the other side of the county I live in that was auctioned off with 368 miles. The final bidding price was over $83,000!
@@ProfessionalDriver101 a 1998 Suburban with less than a thousand original miles, wow the owner must've drove it very seldom.
@@KevinRichards-my5oj Someone was treating it as a collector’s piece. Still wouldn’t pay $83,000 for it though.
Nice!😃
The place looks so clean ❤❤❤
From the look of the hood, looks like the obs☺️👍
Indeed! It’s a 1994 Ford F-Super Duty with a ZF5 manual. Acquired with 11,700 miles if you can believe it

Love the sound of that MP8!
I'm partial to Cummins motors to be honest. Great exhaust notes, and from what I've noticed using one that powers a Diamond Reo at work, they got an extra torque value that I've never felt on Macks.
@@ProfessionalDriver101 Yeah I have heard the MP8 lacks a little in torque compared to everything else
