I know what it means to move to a new country and to start from scratch. How difficult and challenging it can be and how much discipline, and above all how much patience it requires to learn a new language. However it is important to acknowledge and accept, that it doesn't happen over night and its certainly not a push of a button. It entails hard work, dedication and motivation. Its a long journey and it takes time to adapt and process. At the same it is immensely rewarding when you start to notice your own progress. Now I am doing this, in hopes of maybe being able to help someone else out there, that maybe feels slightly lost, overwhelmed or confused trying to figure it all out.

I find many standard German phrases are semi-idiomatic in that the meaning isn't exactly literal. Goodbye for Auf wirdersehen, as an example.

Hello Polin! Hope you are doing great. Thank you for the lesson, it helps a lot. I have a little question about pronunciation, I might be wrong, Shouldn't "Tag" sound like "Tak", with K at the end? The same for "Abend" sounding like "Abent" with T at the end.

Thank you Polin. I think these particles are good to know. i will try to use them more in sentences during conversation. Honestly I am a bit confused about the positions of particles in a certain sentence. As I understood they appear just before the word of sentence which is stressed as the point of saying
Ur welcome! I totally understand, it is really difficult and confusing. Usually they are not placed in the beginning of a sentence, but rather in the middle of a sentence and after verbs and pronouns.
