Good afternoon, good evening, good morning and welcome.
This channel is all about life in the Brinn household. We had a big house a big caravan and a pickup truck but we sold them all together with everything else that didn't give us joy. Everything went and we moved to a smaller house but bought a 2023 Volkswagen Transporter camper van called DUB23 and a Volkswagen Golf R called DUB21.
We travel to random places without any previous knowledge in the hope that we can find something new and exciting with out dog called Max. Nothing will ever be the same on this channel from week to week but if you want to get closer to our craziness then subscribe and comment on our videos.
Catch you on the next video and remember to do something today that will change your life...

Viewing the Auction House in Wales
มุมมอง 15K21 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา
I have found a project in West Wales and the location is perfect, remote but perfect. This is my trip to view an auction property in the mountains of West Wales. It is a project but I am not scared of a little hard work. Follow me up to this beauty and listen to the waffling all the way back down. Keep posted to find out if we were successful in winning at the Auction

Whats the sound track your using to this?
I am absolutely stunned to find this video.. My family on my father's side lived in this very house decades ago... nay, centuries ago. and only a few months ago, this year, I went there to see the house after the hermit that lived there passed away.. I have several distant relatives living in the area and lots more in the cemetery that you pass on your left as you head towards this house.. and even pass a farm on the left just after the cemetery where relatives of ancestors of mine still live. To put this into reality timescale.. I am in my 50s now.. and my father's father's mother's father's mother Margaret M******* was born IN that house in 1822 (according to Census records). And to the guy posting who knows where this is.. and without revealing its full details....it is called H.N Farm, near the village of P.. near the town of T.
Wow what are the chances, amazing ❤ 👍😉🇨🇮Eire /Ireland
Lots of wind farms planned or this area.
I think that was a shearing shed bro, . . .
£360k for the property, plus £200k for renovations or rebuild, plus the cost of maintaining the land, driveway etc. I bought a place in France much like that but much smaller garden and house 20 years ago, cost about £10k to buy, but £90k to get to a living standard. After ten years of trying to get tradies to work, and doing a lot of work myself I only got £110k for it.
Would like to see the price on the thumb nail .
Wow if thats in west wales Pembrokeshire area then £360,000 was a good auction.. this property is just beautiful what dreams are made of but unless you're in the building trade then we are talking about a huge budget to do this property justice those outbuildings alone were worth that price so much potential with them as for the farm house it would probably be best to knock it down and build a new eco house including local materials where possible..im just wandering if it had acreage with it..and that view WOW amazing wild life and beauty that stream you crossed over👌.. whoever bought the property your talking about several years getting permissions and then the building project, Great place good luck to them♥️🏴🏴👍...
My wife and myself moved to South Wales 10 years, we bought a nice house for £70k. The house is now worth more than three times that now. Prices in Wales are almost on a par with English prices, although you can still find the odd terraced house at a reasonable price. To buy a decent detached house you are looking 300k to 400k minimum, much the same price as where we previously lived in West Dorset.
I went to view a few of these back in the 70’s. You could buy a plot back then with land, a house without services, and get a full grant to help fit a roof, a bathroom etc. from around £2000. I ended up in ‘84 with a third of an acre, stream, a river close by and 5 bedrooms! And was able to live-in straight away for £19k. Sold it 8 years later for £ 65k. The fresh air is the best.
So sad to see someone's whole life there, especially knowing that it will all be thrown away, and it'll be like he was never there 😔
I agree, it makes you realise that the things we possess are worth nothing to us in the end
Huge potential, Huge difficulties, Huge budget required...
That would be a stunning lace to live.BEAUTIFUL
I had a look at this any idea what it sold for plz
It sold at auction for £360k in the end. Outside of my budget for sure
The barn with closed up chimneys looks drier and better than the house
High points a good name
Think that would be a grade 1 or 2 listed building, so you would have to ask permission to do stuff to it. Seems too much to do. Too much money to put into it.
It's have a few people living in vans ECT here and there to work parts of the land
Jesus if I had money ide be on that in a flash love remote
if that bridge is only rated for 1 ton good luck getting anything bigger than a transit in and your going to need skips scaffolding and god knows what else? love it and if you can pull it off or have very deep pockets go for it!
You HAVE to find better music. Willy on the plonker dun mi ed in ! Bad Luck You didn't win iit at the aucton, It would have made a lovely home. with great views.
The royalty free music is never that good ;)
Nice music, have you no taste in decent music yourself then?
@@ProjectBrinn All far better than todays garbage!
OMG you down my childhood area in Wales Lampeter is for the Saint Peter and theological uni thats there
Ohh it is lovely there, my ancestors are from that area and if feels like I am going home every time I visit
Only for the very brave, too much to do yourself your at the mercy of the local trades - if there are any willing to take this on.
It is so much work and didn't win at the auction. It sold for 360k which is much more than I could pay, taking into account the cost to bring it back to life. I wouldn't be surprised if it is back on the market soon as it broke the developer who won the auction.
What’s the guide price???
The guide was 250 - 300k but it went for 360k in the end. This was beyond my budget so I am on to the next crazy plan now.
@ lot of money and a lot of work
Hi Guys, We viewed the same property a few weeks ago and my wife's comments were much the same.... "It's too steep, it's too remote, it's too muddy" LOL Great views though, let us know how you get on at the auction.
Didn't win auction but the wife is much happier now.
Just needs a rewire and a lick of paint. Seriously this is a builders project. Unless you have really deep pockets. I would knock down house and rebuild. Probably cheaper to do. 👍
Its a serious project for sure and not a DIY job. Local authorities dont like demolition of traditional buildings and it's not necessary with that particular farmhouse.
One of my fears was getting the materials to the site and removing waste. Didn't win the auction so onto the next
I would love to buy this place not to steep or muddy for me. Pity I probably couldn’t afford it.
What price did it go for at auction.@@ProjectBrinn
By look at it first job new roof Probably have all beems in roof to replace as well We're you able to see inside attic A lot of internal damp and definitely water getting in from roof Lot of wood panels hiding state of walls Would invest in damp meter when checking walls so you know what your looking at maybe to eye ok but you never know A few of walls not done with lime so walls can't breath causing damp Will need a lot of money to do this complete restoration Think I prefer barn than house Gosh it's beautiful is that barn Beautiful views How many acres of land came with property
hope u get gd luck buyin this
Not this time, got out bid at the last minute.
That's whare I like to live away from the rat race peacefully on my own wot a thought ❤
It is the perfect location to get away from everything. Sadly we didn't win the auction, hopefully the universe is holding out for something even better.
Wow, what a beautiful spot and an amazing project, yep youve got to have a dream.. and dreams can come true. Good luck! x
It is an outstanding location but sadly we were beaten at auction. On to the next dream, but I am still hoping that it will come back onto the market one day.
You made the one and only video on YT showing that table!! Thinking about buying one as a foldable work-station for our office, how have you liked it so far?
@mirrormimi It is a fantastic table, we use it every day and it is as good as the day we bought it.
@@ProjectBrinn that's great!! thank you so much for the insight, I'll use your video once again when it's time to assemble it, hehe.
Might as well hardwire it and thats it, much easier and no damage to car , drilling and all sorts of dodgy things.. my opinion
I had one in charging the battery the battery just lost its power so quick started pluging into my car lighter to use but connecter not working.
I had the same and have changed the fuse about 5 times
I am not sure if you got to see it, but Kilver Court Gardens and Shepton Mallet Prison is worth a visit.
We are hoping to go back there in the spring
That looked bloody amazing, took me back to my party days.
It was Awesome but I cant see the same for 2025 at the moment. Hopefully they will do it again.
Great review . How tall are you please? Planning to buy one for my husband.
Sorry for the very late reply, I am 5'7" and this one it probably on the large side
You can’t have any pudding if you don’t eat your meat.
Great video love this place family have a caravan here for 50 years. Yes really. Gogoyan. Beautiful place with genuine beautiful Welsh people.
I would imagine that house has a farm right of way past it. Which means it would not be quiet or private and probably always muddy. I have lived in a similar house and left for these reasons.
Hi we have the exact same problem. Did you say the issue was caused by your mobile phone?
Sorry for the late reply. Yeah, I put my mobile in the truck and this fixed the problem
You didn't find St John's Alley, then - medieval Devizes, off St John's St. lh3.googleusercontent.com/p/AF1QipNBfGkpUcn22WCK260yFf2rUKyXTz_o40-RdHOi=s1360-w1360-h1020

So doesnt it go up to the set tyre pressure seems like it cuts off before it gets to it
Try using it with the corded plug, I use it all the time with this now
I live in Spain. My friends selling up in bath and looking to buy a property in Shepton mallet. Off to Frome at your recommendation. Brilliant thanks for uploading.
Thanks for watching :)
What was the point of this pointless video 😂
Great thank you. I love the inflator that I’ve got but it’s so annoying having to screw it on and off each they’re so I like this one just clips on and looks quicker.
I haven't used mine in some time
@ I bought the cordless one I absolutely love it. So much quicker to do all four tyres.
Hi. We have this problem at the moment, with our Bailey Unicorn Cadiz. Your toilet looks the same inside. Bloomin awkward to work on. Could I ask please, when you unscrewed and turned clockwise, did you have the handle inside, in the open or closed position? Thanks for posting
It was such a long time ago, I cant remember sorry
I think recently in 2024, Newgate have diluted this really good soup. I used to buy regularly as it compares well with Hienz's, but not so much now as it not as thick as it used to be and it seems like the taste has been watered down slightly.
Seems like everything, being watered down :)
All curries in Tins taste pretty much the same to me, when they say hot, you know it's not going to be...I've yet to find one that really is. I do find these like to explode if you microwave them, put a plate over the top to save the shrapnel from ruining your microwave.
The burger bus is ace. Really nice blue cheese burger.
Twas blumin lovely :)
You uploaded a unfinished video can you please redo the video or send link of last part
I’ve got the sign come up, filled up But still has sign.? Any suggestions? Maybe a reset, if so how do you do it
