decided to make a channel to share my music and see what happens (flow flow battery)
วีดีโอ
Thaw (improvisation)
มุมมอง 33หลายเดือนก่อน
This is my second improvisation recording, now with better audio and piano. Please pardon mistakes
Farewell (improvisation)
มุมมอง 34หลายเดือนก่อน
I’ve decided I would start posting the recordings I made of my improvisations chronologically, mistakes and everything. This is the first one and it could have much better audio, but my future recordings are better. Also, please pardon the frequent and glaring mistakes
metamorphosis

I think I did better this time than last video, especially since I planned more
Very nice!
This guy reminds me of John Beethoven Pork
THE ONE PIECE GRAHHHHHH METAMORPHOSIS GRAHHHHHHH
Beautiful. This one really carried me to the outer bounds of my imagination. KUDOS! The soothing mental journies you create with your style is nothing short of astounding for your age and experience. Your treatment of subtle, yet complex harmonies in the lower register (the growly bits) are genius level. Those are the hardest notes to harmonize, and not just to simply rely on for "bass notes." I would have used italics, but... hey, it's yootoob! Keep up the great work. How does this dovetail with your academics? I hope there is some cross-talk. My undergrad BA is from Shimer College. There I learned about "integrative studies" within the historical context of the the development of the Western Philosophic tradition, starting with the atomists, the ancient Greeks, all the way up through the Renaissance and early 20th Century (Wittgenstein, Einstein, etc.). I got to witness how science influenced math, how math infuenced music, how music influenced the arts, how the invention of the scientific method influnced sociology as well as all the other fields of study. Long-winded, (sorry) but totally worth it to notice. I have a few orchestral pieces with some piano dabbling about. I had a technical question about your use of the sostenuto (middle) pedal, sustaining some low notes while playing staccatos and legatos above. Nice touch. Even if that was a MIDI trick, you can do that in real time with a real piano that has that option (some pianos only have sustain and soft pedals). I thoroughly enjoyed both of these YT pieces and the original one you played at NCSSM. Thanks for just being you. Your comrade in music, -Kent Cantwell
Thank you for your kind words! Really glad to hear you appreciate my music. I haven’t yet decided exactly how music will integrate into my academics, but I would definitely want to take classes about music theory and/or history in the future. I do have a particular interest in the histories and styles of composers like Rachmaninoff and Ravel, who I take a lot of inspiration from. The topics you were learning about are really interesting to me, especially regarding the connections between math, science, and music. It was great meeting you on Saturday and I look forward to conversing further in the future.
Nice. I love the way you lead into key changes with a sweet, simple little melody. Again, some Rachmaninoff influences controlling your soul. Not bad company, though, eh?
Genuine shock rn. You're so good dude amazing work
This is quite impressive and very moving. I’m looking forward to hearing what you do next. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
