You'll see how easy it is to assemble the saw and get it up and running in no time, thanks to Skill's user-friendly design and clear instructions. Once we have the saw assembled and in place, I'll walk you through the various features and functions, such as the rip fence, blade guard, ...
Great! Thanks a lot for help me!
Glad it helped! Subscribe for more videos!
Nobody is going to talk about how he checked the blade to rip fence measurements with the framing square that had NO measurement on it haha. Your 6” mark doesn’t even exist!
Haha i agree the square is old but you maybe cant see it on camera but there are measurements on it! Thanks for watching!
I can’t thank you enough for skipping the 5 minute introduction explaining why we are here. Straight to the point and well done.
just the no brainer adjustments in this video, did no show how to adjust blade to t slots, adjustment sideways on riving knife, paralell the fence etc..
Thanks for watching!
Thank you!
Thanks for watching!
Thank u. I bought my table saw 2 years ago. Immediately took the pieces off the “shark fin” looking piece (can’t remember what it’s called) bc I had to dado hundreds 2x4s. Haven’t used it since and now I’m getting into wood working and couldn’t figure out how to reattach them lol
Glad it helped!
🎉😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
Good job. Thank you.
Very helpful video, just received mine today, thanks for sharing it with us.
How do you adjust the fence angle??! ASMR setup vid? Maybe after I buy and instructions are bad will revisit. Otherwise this is zero value.
The fence angle is not adjustable unfortunately I heard other people having the same issue but mine seemed okay! Thanks for viewing the video.
This video is gonna save lives, bro! Thanks! 💚👍🏼😅 I am a first-time table saw owner and I wanna stay alive and totally realize table saws can be crazy-dangerous!
My riving knife doest look anything like yours
Oh really maybe they changed the design?
Must have, I'm missing the slot on the top so I can't attach everything
I think they gave two riving knives; one is solo and one is built into the plastic guard. Notice, the one in the box has a jumbo riving knife, but in this video, the clear plastic guards attach to that large riving knife. Thanks so much for the video!
@shamrackle3712 I'll have to double check the box
Neither does mine... I bought mine in Feb of 2024 and I think it's just a change Skil made. The riving knife is now built into the guard, AND if you don't use the guard, there is also a stand alone riving knife you can use. The directions aren't very clear, and it took me a few minutes to figure it out.
Thanks for posting this video. I was having trouble getting the smart guard attached and your video showed how to do it correctly.
What mono cost did you use?
Thank you for this video!! Saved me from a lot of frustration!!
Good I’m happy it did thanks for watching I appreciate it!
See my "Parallel Guided Power Saw" Do you wish to manufacture my saw? I give you free all the details.
thanks
Thanks for watching I appreciate it!
Thanks. Bought one of these saws a few months ago and very impressed. Question, my fence isn't 90degrees to the top, any adjustments for that do you know? Cheers
I’ve read some comments about that I think that’s one of the negatives, there isn’t an adjustment for that but you can possibly modify it to get that perfect 90 deg
Nicely done. Even the music was pleasant. Cheers!
thanks
Useful video that saved me from the unintelligible jargon in the owner's manual. Clear visuals and no chatter. Thanks!
