How can you do a video with the sound of a vacuum in the background come on, bro it’s not very professional
Not necessarily it isn't always an uneven rotor that is the cause also pays to clean all parts back to shiny metal when servicing brakes then inspect for any issues before reassembly
Doing the same thing now on a genesis coupe.... dont have the depth collar though
Horrible camera and lighting.. but A for effort.
great video! Thank you for showing the detail of how the door lock cable connects and disconnects.
Glad it was helpful!
Thanks for that update on the #12 TSB.
The part of the clips on the door handle the metal sticks have me confused and its difficult to put them on the nee lock.
thanks so much, removed all head bolts except the one I stripped by accident. I will try this method to remove stripped head bolt so I can remove cylinder head and take to auto machine shop. The socket I'm using is a M12 12-Point 3" with 1/2" Drive.
What a bunch of wasted time on a bad design!!! I can change a bulb within 5 minutes on my 4Runner.
Yes it would be pretty much the same process on yours. Might be slight differences but nothing too much. Thanks a lot for watching. Just like to help others as much as possible!!!
Oookay then, I'm not crazy there really is a bunch of stuff that has to get out of the way...only thing so far with this car I actually hate! Nevermind the quick run to auto zone and swap them out when I get back. I'm just gonna order stuff online and set up to do this another day! Thanks for the video, I'll be back! My previous car literally just had to pull a couple rods out, remove the headlight assembly, swap the bulbs and put it back together, took 5 minutes at most. I often replaced it in the parking lot instead of driving home first! Wildly enough, that was a Volvo XC90, why is this Nissan the overcomplicated one?!?!
Update, I've followed the instructions which are very much appreciated. I would like to make a comment regarding the poor soul who designed this...all they needed was to have parents who loved them! There's no reason why this had to be soo complicated to change out all the bulbs! They clearly put all their pent up hate into designing this!
This helped me a lot, thank you!!
I am so happy that it helped you. I love you tube and all the help I have gotten from everyone that I am grateful to be able to help someone else!! Thank you back!!
i have a honda odyssey 2001, different doors, but i’m pretty sure it’s going to be an easy thing for me to fix, after seeing your video ! thanks a lot for posting it
Great video! Dumbed it down for me big time lol
OK i need help on the passenger side low beam bulb.
Very helpful sir
Im having a hard time with the right, passenger side bulbs. Can you help?
Putting a new disc (rotor) back onto a rusty hub flange like that is asking for trouble.
Where the tensioned
Idler/ tensioner pulley.
Dude. Seriously?! If I'd known this, I would never have bought the '06 I have, based on this alone.😅. -Thank you for taking the time to do this though in all seriousness.
Ya I know!! No wonder it cost $300 to replace bulbs these days!!!
VERY helpful.
Glad it was helpful! Thanks for watching!!
Your video helped me TREMENDOUSLY. Very well explained. Thank you
Glad it helped! Thanks for watching!!
hey i have a elantra and when i’m going about 70-80 and start to slow down to take the exit and i hit the brakes it makes a noise almost like an air brake on a semi, any suggestions?
What is a hand crank? LOL 😂
Whoa! I thought the marine climate here in New Zealand was bad but I've not seen rust like that! I've found that a rusty unserviced caliper will make any vibration problem much worse. A caliper that's bound up with rust cannot float over any small variation, this will in turn cause overheating of the pad and jerky operation.
At times it can be the hub.
Thank youuuu... I haven't finished the job yet need that attachment for the bolt, but this was a great explanation
Glad it helped
Dude, you only changed driver side bulb, what about passenger side ?
Did not video that one due to it is easier than drivers side as far as accessibility and the bulb itself goes in the housing the same way.
@@ufixit6806 got it, thanks.
You forgot one with a hand crank for a manual window!
what is the part called?
Door checker
Thank you! I was able to do it!
That was my problem too. Thought it was a #10 allen, but its a #12 triple square bit.
I HATE THIS CAR
You can do this without fully removing the door panel which means you don’t have to unplug green power connection or disconnect handle latch cable. You could probably leave the window control buttons plugged in also. After removing all screws and bolts, just tilt inner door panel away from door at bottom, un-adhere the liner and remove/replace the checker. You only need brief access beneath the door panel.
Where u get the tool kit?
This was SO helpful! Thank you!!!!!!!!! From a divorced mom who needed this video to fix the leaky faucet.
I am so happy that it helped you Hollie. If you ever need any thing, let me know and I will try to help.
When putting tge bukb back together watching your hands does me not a bit of good .
What a Fu king pain in The BALLS !!
You know, they don't design this stuff to make it easy for anyone. I remember years ago being able to swap out a bulb without having to take out half the stuff under the hood. It takes 3 seconds to swap a bulb, and 30 minutes to remove everything else and put it back
Yea this is ridiculous
Was your MPG and acceleration significantly improved?
It’s not a significant improve it’s just a very minimal increase of horsepower because the belt is on one side having the same tension
What about the passenger side? It's way more different with tighter components?
Remove radiator overflow and the bracket 2 10mm bolts total
It is easier👍
I have the same make and model this is a pain in the ass I paid someone to do it never in my life I had a hard time replacing headlight bulbs in my car till I brought this Nissan
abject stupidity! I wish I could contact them. Infuriating
Wish my 2006 Odyssey EX-L Was this easy. I have a completely different setup that requires pressed bearings. I wonder why the difference in the same year model.
Cuz he's doing the rear ones, the front ones needs a press.
All that just to swap a freaking bulb smh starting to really hate Nissans
What bulb did you use?
YOU EXPERT AND GOOD MAN 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👏👏👏👏👏👏👊👊👊👊👊
Thank you, hope it helped!!
