When trying to make beads for dreads, how would I enlarge the whole to 8cm or more?
You would need a large hole mandrel. ABR Imagery calls them their "vessel mandrels" and they come in several sizes. Here's an example. Enjoy www.abrimagery.com/7-16-Vessel-Mandrel

If you like stiffer glass try Devardi Glass as it is stiffer and takes longer to melt

Hi Leslie, Glad you like the videos. The tool is called a "ball stylus" and I probably got it off Amazon a bazillion years ago. 😉
what kind of glas are you using?
I use mostly Effetre COE 104 glass. I also use Creation is Messy (CIM) 104.

Yes, absolutely! Just make sure to let them cool a bit then a light, gentle kiss in the flame to get them to strike. Takes some practice but is definitely doable! 😁
