2007 Bobcat T190 Fuel Filter Replacement
Before the video started I switched out the fuel filter because I needed two hands to remove it. All I needed was a very large pliers to remove it. Once the new filter was installed I explain the instructions from there.

Thank you so much! I’ve been zip tying a loop to keep throttle. Lol. Didn’t know it was that simple! Ideals like it should now! Thanks again!
Thank you that really makes sense. I appreciate your time and your video to show us and give us that tip
Another satisfied customer right here bud, thank you.
I had the same issue, this fixed it, thanks for posting!
Thank you for this, thank you for taking the time to make your videos 👍🏽
Thank you mines was doing the same thing just fixed it now I'm heading to the Trail's keep video's up
I thought that was the issue on my Polaris outlaw. It cranks but won't start at all. Will just crank and crank until the battery is out of juice. Any ideas? Spark plug you think?
Perfect ! Thank you thank you
Thanks ,i do appreciate your help with this ( mine ) just picked up a used 4x4 magnum 325 and yes it wouldn't idle...😊
Thanks.! Contacts had me guessing but it was finding out where the spring fell from. I just wish I'd seen you take the lid off. I used a chisel, hehe.
the pump is loud hugh??
If you pull the rubber protective covers off the 'adjuster' you will see the plastic cable adjuster and the LOCKNUT - once the adjustment is made and the locknut tightened, push the rubber protectors back covering the adjuster - a better video is th-cam.com/video/1Lwly4z8KaY/w-d-xo.html
thank you!
Dude thank you so much ...After changing the carb out .i didn't know what was wrong with it ...Fired right up after the adjustment
Thanks for the video. Exactly what was wrong with mine. My cable was already adjusted to the max so I just pulled out one of the contactors and now it’s in the throttle case dangling around.
Thank you your video was so helpful I did what u said and my Polaris runs better then new . Thank you 👍🇺🇸
Thanks for this video, my 04 sportsmen 700 efi is doing the same thing.
WOW! Thanks so much for sharing! What a time saver! I am having the same problem and I was adjusting the carburetor but that was not doing it. What a great video! I was trying to plow the snow and it kept stopping, how frustrating! I will try this! I am sure it will fix my problem!

Thanks! I have same issue……
Thanks.
Thank you so much for making this video!!!!
Glad to help.
I have a 01 polaris trail boss 325, it will start and run but wide open throttle only, throttle won't change it and choking it won't change it, any ideas?
This fixed my issue perfectly! Thanks for a short, easy video to solve a problem that Polaris would have charged too much in labor for resolving!
How do you get that cover off? mine wont lift off and I don't want to break it.
I think I used a screw driver or two to lift it off.
The contacts are designed to touch one another at idle according to the service manual (to limit RPM in the event of a broken throttle cable), but I do have the same issue at idle. I put a piece of a cable tie between the contacts to stop this rough idling and it helped. Motorcycles use two throttle cables, but Polaris chose this setup for some reason. Thanks for the video.
So why not just cut the wire off? What is the purpose of those contact points if it runs good without them?
From the service manual on my 2009 Sportsman 850 XP: "The Electronic Throttle Control (ETC) switch is designed to close during throttle movement in the event the throttle cable sticks or breaks. When the throttle lever is at idle position, the ETC switch contacts should be closed (touching). When the throttle lever is moved the contacts will open and allow normal operation. If the contacts remain closed or become closed during throttle movement, the ECU will limit engine RPM."
Did this to my 2018 450 and it made the engine light go off
Thank you! I have same exact machine and problem. This fixed the issue instantly. I would've never figured it out without your video.
Glad this helped you out.
Thank you so much for this!!! I have been dreading adjusting the valves but this is all it was!
Glad it helped you.

Omfg!!! Thank you!!
THANKS FOR THIS! Worked perfectly! My husband had tried everything including a thick rubber band to hold the throttle open so it would idle! lol This was so SIMPLE! Much appreciated.
Happy it helped you out.
Thank u so much
Mines doing the same thing hasn't rode it 5 miles bran new. I'll give it a try. Thanks
Mine just dies when you give it gas and doesn't idle smooth
Did you ever find out what the problem was? I have a 2006 500 efi that does the same as yours.
