Preach Baby sis! The pretenders make it hard. But I love seeing people healing and meeting milestones... that's the fulfilling part. Therapist have to check in too though, to empty so that we continue to pour. Our own A.C.E.'s will keep us from helping people to heal... this is so good!!

Thank you for sharing your story. Your story is horrific and powerful at the same time. You are absolutely right. Dealing with such a broken system is one of the most criminal acts to me. Kids are slipping through the cracks left and right while sustaining horrendous acts of abuse. Congratulations on going to therapy. I hope you are doing trauma therapy, and I would suggest adding Neurofeedback if possible. Thank you, Dr. Tori. Another great interview. ❤

I'm surprised at how little compassion people have for his mother who ended up having a child at 14. Im sure that was a traumatic event for her and without the proper care she probably hasn't moved on. As far as his aunt is concerned, no she shouldn't make him call her aunt if he doesnt want too but a lot of women that age don't want people younger calling them by their first name. I dont know what has gone one but it seems he's upset about being given up for adoption but she was 14 maybe giving him to her great-aunt was what she thought was best or out of her control. Honestly, i thought it was manipulative for him to showing certain things because he knew they would be dragged and he allowed the public to "punish" them in ways he can't. The presumption that he's taking care of them or that they need him too is a reach.

The father saying "Ï don't remember"" is suspect to me. He'd have us believe a rumour swirling for years in a small town about a woman he dated somehow misses your ears? "I don't remember" is what people say to avoid getting caught in a lie should there be evidence.
