How to Calibrate DP Transmitter using Beamex MC6 Calibrator
มุมมอง 1096 หลายเดือนก่อน
I would like to show you how to calibrate a DP transmitter using your MC6 Calibrator and how you can remove the moisture out of the manifold.
Transmitter without test port? don’t want to break the loop? This is an option you can consider

Alternative way to get a calibration done without breaking the loop. Analog Output vs Digital Output!!! How much difference in accuracy and error? #calibration #tnt #engineering

Hi Antonio, a nice video! If the HART transmitter is perfectly trimmed (both sensor trim and analog trim) then the digital representation of mA signal and the actual analog mA signal should be the same. However, if the transmitter is not trimmed correctly, the digital signal can be good, but the actual analog mA can be way out. Thanks, Heikki/Beamex

Heikki Laurila 🍀 thanks for your comment, that’s absolutely true, however it is super rare find a transmitter where the D/A is off, that doesn’t mean you will not find any, but I think based on my experience 95% of the calibration I have done in my career D/A has been consistent. I think is safe to say that if you suspect about your transmitter behavior then perform your calibration using the AO just to make sure you are aware of any discrepancy in your mA readings.

Lease make a video on calibrating a pressure transmitter that the zero is off 5 inches-of water column, but go slow
