I just realized after looking at the Odyssey. Odysseus ended up having sons with Circe during the crew's year long stay at her island. At some point Circe sends her son, Telegonus, to retrieve Odysseus, accidentally poisoning him in the process . Hence that "draw your final breath" part The most BS part of the entire thing is that Telegonus married Penelope afterwards

I like to think that now Polities greets the souls entering the underworld with open arms, making them feel safe and welcome. I also cry knowing that polities died STILL believing in kindness and that he was thinking of his best friend right before he died, and that he was the only one (that we see) that didn't blame Odysseus for his death)
