No, they haven't backed the right players. Instead arteta has taken all the juice out from his best players. He sold smith rowe who could back up odegaard. We have no backup for saka. Even when reiss nelson was there he didn't trust him. We needed a quality striker this season who could provide us wins in those tight matches where saka or Odegaard weren't having good games. And this is our limitation. Odegaard is injured, saka is tired hence inconsistent, martinelli is off form. And jesus, i don't know what his problem is but that has been his case his whole career. Also Jesus isn't starting the matches so.... Its just some injuries, exhaustion, and absence of quality striker.

I wouldn't read too much about it. It's difficult to have the same level of consistency for long time. Injuries, unlucky situations and drop in form happens from time to time. Like only City have managed to have the same consistency year after year and only had a minor drop in consistency the year Liverpool won the league. They have such consistency because they have such a great squad depth. There isn't for nothing everyone said City could had have 2 teams in the top of the league. Liverpool have been consistently strong, but some seasons they have a injury crisis going on, some bad ref decisions and some drop in form for certain players and by having not the same squad depth as city they have fallen off the top spots. Similar to Arsenal. Arsenal are experiencing the same now. Odegaard and many more gone for a long time and some red card decisions in their disfavor. Arsenal MIGHT not win the league this year, but they are consistently strong with a young squad, so a bit more on the good fortune side and they can get going again as they have done the last 2 years. I'm not spotting the fall of Arsenal just yet.

Naaaaa it’s not the players it’s the fact at Ajax they had quality coaches who did all the coaching Erik ten hag doesn’t do he was just the manger and then he moves to Man Utd but without those coaches and had to use club coaches no surprise he failed and guess what when Ruben got appointed they hired him and his coaches to avoid the same mistake of hiring someone but having the support coaches have no idea how to coach the managers style well that’s issue is gone now since at Man Utd he wouldn’t be hiring managers anymore we’d be hiring head coaches since we have a better footballing structure
