Its funny how everyone says vanquish is king. Ive seen those vanquish axles break alot more in my 2 years of rc comping, trailing etc. and i still think its cool to have the c-hubs separate from the plastic axle, which that plastic panhard link tends to break, making you disassemble the whole car just to change out the whole housing. I have both cars and i can tell you both my vs4 and enduro chassis are almost identical. But my ecto is my very first rig i started and its on a gspeed chassis now and its been a very tough truck, ive only broken my rear axle link brackets but they are still the same link brackets just flipped to make it work again. I love my ecto. 💪🏼

Is your steering link touching your drive shaft? Mine is and it’s making it roll chunky.

Axles are very disapointing, they should have used a harder plastic. The SCX10 Pro much better axles.

Element still running 48 pitch is quieter but not as strong.. with all others running 32 pitch metal gears is in my opinion stronger and more reliable.

I have an original ecto which is a sweet rig for light weight rig, . but if you want durability, I'd buy the vanquish over element every time.

I already have a SCX10 Pro, which is very capable. I was thinking of this or the VRD Carbon for my next build. I think the VRD is in the lead now!

What's the seal pack like? Size of bore? Are there rebuild kits available for them? When it comes to shocks, for me, it doesn't matter how nice your features are if they don't hold oil. So we'll need to seem some run time on them.
