As always I agree with you. That actually strapped me buying Hasbro. Takara still holds the flag high though. Have you seen the combined mode of this one? It’s epic, albeit a bit small.

This is the more Ratchet like character from the G1 series so he has a special place in my heart. UT Red Alert was more of a fighter than a doctor, even if he was portrayed as a engineer. Tough call but I think First Aid takes the top spot since his character profile was fleshed out in the cartoon.

I put 4 out of 5 together, but the result surprised me.

Lol, sorry about that, I tend to use sarcasm way too much. I was just trying to create some suspense in a otherwise way too obvious list. I have to come up with something better in the future. I still consider him to be one of my favourite toys ever made.

A lot of MOTU collectors are listing their favourite toy based on quality and nothing else, I may do similar but with Transformers. Or maybe favourite character… What would you suggest?

You’re most welcome. As for Commader Stack, he’s really solid. Transformation is rough and a lot of panel forming to make the cab. It’s not as bad as going back in to bot mode. I think proportionally he looks more cartoon accurate as well. I got him in June or so and that may have been a reissue but the issues that people talked about in the beginning weren’t on mine. Paint is great, great head sculpt. I’m happy with him and if FT didn’t do the armor gimmick I’d would a just stuck with him.

@StardustLegacyFighter I’m gonna tape it today. Don’t know when it will be it though, just gotten my new mic and need to get that up and running.

A very interesting but difficult question to answer. Based on my collection at the moment the answers would be DX9, Takara and Jinbao. However these are all old molds. Based on current releases I would argue that Startoys (still holds up), Maketoys and FT/XTB. The last one is too early to give to FT since we only got the one in hand and the ones XTB released looks really nice. But if you want only one company releasing them all it would have to be FT, but I have yet to try their Blitzwing in hand though.

It very well my be, this is the reissue so they have perfected a lot of the things they didn’t do so well on the original release. I just miss that rail…

@@toytesterteo Sorry - we didn't see your reply. They both have their charm but our takeaway was that if the Origins Snake Mountain had the microphone like the vintage then it would be the winner between the two. The Origins is nice because it has more features inside, like the bone throne and jail cell. But man, the microphone really sets the vintage apart. :)

No problem, we all have our things that take priority. I actually never heard the effect of that microphone, I’ll have to look at a clip of it.

But if your no. 1 isn't FT then that makes things very interesting... 🤔 Btw, my TFC Toys STC-02 Tyrant arrived earlier today. 😏

​​@@toytesterteoHaha, alright. It's incredible! It has a lot of parts, because there's a lot of optional partsforming involved, but everything holds together super well so far. The alt modes have been fun to mess around with, which really makes this thing feel like a toy, but one that is of a good quality. I'm keeping it in it's hyper mode form (basically a super mode on steroids), and it looks epic on my desk, so it most definitely behaves like a masterpiece figure, when it needs to.

I don’t think they will loosen because they are well made and really tight. The feet does worry me in the long run after the ”ratchets” wear out and they have to balance the whole figure. But there are stands for that and if you rotate the thighs they will probably not fall over. Thanks for watching. 🙏🏼❤️

They sure have, and this is a fav. I have a couple KOs from Toy House and you can really see how bad the first one is compared to the one released later on.
