A very interesting but difficult question to answer. Based on my collection at the moment the answers would be DX9, Takara and Jinbao. However these are all old molds. Based on current releases I would argue that Startoys (still holds up), Maketoys and FT/XTB. The last one is too early to give to FT since we only got the one in hand and the ones XTB released looks really nice. But if you want only one company releasing them all it would have to be FT, but I have yet to try their Blitzwing in hand though.

It very well my be, this is the reissue so they have perfected a lot of the things they didn’t do so well on the original release. I just miss that rail…

​​@@toytesterteoI honestly haven't seen that many full reviews about FT figures, so I'm not aware of the squeaking issues, but they're usually at the top of many lists I see on Reddit and TFW2005. But if your no. 1 isn't FT then that makes things very interesting... 🤔 Btw, my TFC Toys STC-02 Tyrant arrived earlier today. 😏

​​@@toytesterteoHaha, alright. It's incredible! It has a lot of parts, because there's a lot of optional partsforming involved, but everything holds together super well so far. The alt modes have been fun to mess around with, which really makes this thing feel like a toy, but one that is of a good quality. I'm keeping it in it's hyper mode form (basically a super mode on steroids), and it looks epic on my desk, so it most definitely behaves like a masterpiece figure, when it needs to.

I don’t think they will loosen because they are well made and really tight. The feet does worry me in the long run after the ”ratchets” wear out and they have to balance the whole figure. But there are stands for that and if you rotate the thighs they will probably not fall over. Thanks for watching. 🙏🏼❤️

They sure have, and this is a fav. I have a couple KOs from Toy House and you can really see how bad the first one is compared to the one released later on.

I get what you’re saying but in hand it’s MP quality even if it is not FansToys level. The Legacy version is epic, for a mainline toy. The plastic and size is lacking in comparison. But man, does it hold together. I am considering FT Gehry for my next combiner. What’s your thoughts on him?

​@toytesterteo I see what you mean, as if it feels solid in your hands, then I trust your judgement. 👍 I'm not sure about FT Gehry, as I've just never been a fan of G1 Devestator tbh. 😅 I think that colour scheme is my least favourite on any Transformers toy, and I always imagine how it would have looked with different colours.

​@@toytesterteoBtw, I'm not sure if you've seen my latest comment on that other video of yours, but I have been trying to liase with TF Robots NL. They told me that they do have TFC Toys STC-02 Tyrant in stock, and they use Parcelforce for shipping to the UK. They did respond to my first email within a day, but they still haven't responded to my second email. I'm not trying to be impatient, but compared to Prime Time Toyz, their customer service is lacking, which always concerns me.

@StardustLegacyFighter Thank you for telling me your opinion. I still haven’t landed in a decision on what to invest in. But it is a good time to be a TF collector with all the amazing stuff that’s being released right now.

​​​@@toytesterteoWell, I just realised that you've already ranked Ocular Max, which I've just found out are also known as MMC, so that shows just how much I don't know about this space. 😂 Not sure if FH will be top 3, but if it is then FT are definitely going to be ranked ahead of them. There are some other 3P companies that haven't been mentioned yet like Iron Factory, New Age and Magic Square, although they don't make MP scale figures.

@@toytesterteo If you want to dabble in MP scale for smaller bot mode, to me best one is the latest by magic square. Its about $50 more than an MP44 KO, but its the best balance in G1 bot aesthetics and articulation.

@@toytesterteo I don't think NewAge has MP scale (10" OP), NewAge is primarily legend class (3.75 to 5"). You do have a lot of options in MP scale Magic Square is just one of them. Transform Element is actually also great, and the KO MP44 is not bad either. Since you are just starting (relatively). You may need to decide what scale you want to collect. I made the mistake of looking at large scales such as the MPP10, or the MP, but now I am realizing that I really want to play with Diorama stuff, so now I am pivoting on looking at legend scale since titan class (Metroplex) looks awesome, and actually has playbility instead of just displaying them. You need to know kinda have a vision for your collection, or else everything literally is eye candy. I know most collectors are into main line stuff (Hasbro), there's pros and cons to it, but what I hat the most are the scalpers that drive up the prices; this is why I'm kinda staying away from it, since I don't follow the G1 lore, and have a different world in my head.

On a personal level I agree with you on this. As a collector I have some figures that I wish they did better. The spree marks on Castle Grayskull for instance. Looking forward to your comments on my next MOTU review that’s out any day now.

It was just so fun to do in the eighties. The body was solid but for some reason the head wasn’t. Thankfully the heads are solid today.

It really depends on how much money you want to spend. Fans Hobby really delivers when it comes to quality and durability but cost a bit more. Fans toys look and feel better, but you have to be a bit more careful when transforming them and they are extremely more expensive. Hasbro deluxe through Voyager class characters are very durable and easily transformed but sometimes lack the quality and look. For your preferens I would take the three brands I’ve mentioned in descending order. If I can help out any more just send me a message again. Thanks for watching! 🙏🏼❤️

​​@@toytesterteoThanks for replying back so quickly. 👍 I have heard about Fans Toys, but I don't think they make a Powermaster Prime or any other Prime that has some kind of super mode. As for Hasbro/Takara, I haven't really seen a Prime that I really like since Cybertron Leader, as even Legacy Evolution Armada Optimus Prime has a lot of QC issues, more so than other figures in the same class. However, I do quite like Legacy Menasor, as he seems to be fairly solid and the gift pack exclusive comes with the entire set in special colours. At the moment, I'm still amazed by how good this FH Power Baser looks. On their official website, they also have God Armour, as well as a limited edition gift pack with both bots in a special colour scheme. Do you think that would be good deal? Thanks.

@StardustLegacyFighter My bad, I didn’t pick up on PMOP being the character you wanted. Then FH is the way to go with out a doubt. I am still happy I got him and transform him regularly. Though the combo pack you refer to has Optimus painted blue and to me that doesn’t sit right, but that’s just my opinion, you still get the same epic bot. If you are like me and prefer the bot red I would recommend that you have a look at Showzstore, Bombusbee or the Chosen Prime first. They may have him still in stock. The last shop usually work directly with FH to get the unique bots that isn’t released otherwise. The Legacy Stunticons are great. ​@toytesterteo No worries, PMOP has grown on me a lot. 😅 As someone who grew up during the Unicron Trilogy era, where super modes were very common, it's fascinating to know that PMOP was the very first super mode. There is an online retailer in the UK (Prime Toyz) that have Power Baser and God Armour in stock, and delivery would be complete within a week, although I'm a bit concerned as they don't sell them factory sealed. On FH's website, as you rightly said, the original Power Baser isn't available yet, hence why I was rather tempted by the Black version and the gift set. I actually like all the colour variants for Power Baser, and the gift set also has an improved repaint of God Armour. I'm still checking a few things out with FH's customer service, and if there aren't any issues, I should have both bots ordered soon! But thanks for recommending me those other retailers, as I'll definitely keep them in mind if I don't decide to go for the gift set. 👍

@StardustLegacyFighter I know of PT, but I don’t trust them. Before brexit we could shop bots from other European countries, but now we get stiffed with import tax. I hope you get the one you want soon. I waited years for the reissue, and it was worth it.
