8:47 im confused.. My teacher teach me that in order to change x/3 - y/6 = 1 to the general form is that you need x/3 times with 6 and y/6 times with 3, then you will get 6x - 3y over 6(3) then you bring 6(3) to the side that becomes 6x - 3y = 6(3) and then the next one need to change the 6(3) which lead to 6x - 3y = 18 and can simplify by dividing with 3 so the final answer is 2x - y = 6 ... so which one should i use in exam? This video's formula or my teacher's formula?

sir, one question...why do you write 1st ball, 2nd ball and 3rd ball instead of 1st box, 2nd box and 3 rd box?
First ball from the first box, second ball from the second box... You can change it to box, it will not affect the answer.

may i know if the examiner will accept using ruler to measure instead of compass for some questions that involved straight line?
Just follow the instructions given by the question. If it requests you to use compases then you need to use it. If the diagram is drawn on grid papers normally no need to use compases if the locus is a straight line.
