@patriciau6277 I hope they did great in Cali. Seems like when they get too much direct sun, the leaves start to die back. Mine does better in partial sun.

@@DreamsRus22there in Norwalk where I grew up. Our house was an old cook house to the big house the owner of the last operating dairy in the area. Our garage faced west. The 12x12 slab attached was an old wash room. Small shower, toilet, and a deep concrete tub in the ground?! Nothing but the plumbing and outlines of what it was left. I removed the dirt from the tub and found it was 3x6x3. I filled it with good potting soil and planted it with elephant ears and other wet loving plants. With wet fee, afternoon sun, and protection from the wind. I couldn’t have had better results! The drain hole was still open at the bottom so it never got too wet. I think about recreating that same type of planter.

@Eciv3.14 Sorry for the late response.Thanks a lot for this tip. My chickens normally do a great job with aerating. I just need to be careful of when I apply.

@Hyundairobitdog Sorry for the late response. I tried netting bags but the rip straight thru them. I also hung cd disc but that also didn't last long. Now, I spray with Kaolin Clay and just hope for the best!
