If you saw in the video, use the lanyard that came with the DJI Pocket 3 to pull up and out. Easy. And it’s not hard at all to thread it in the case. I’ve had good customer services but experiences may vary

Update to the update: Trexo sent me a whole new unit. So I actually have two of these things now. I cement glued the cracked pieces together and sanded down the glue before I got the second unit. I’ll do a review soon

This thing comes from Turkey just to put it out there. Not coming from the US and the packaging isn’t the best..

Unfortunately the lens has to be in the normal position for the top cover to fit over it. The rest of the case should be fine though.

@@itsPhillipStaples Can you test it with a filter like PolarPro or Freewell etc. ? How much place has the top cover inside?

I'm back. So you have to take the filter off. I have the wide angle lens that goes on the Pocket 3 and there is a spot to store magnetic lenses.

@@SpenceClarkSRthey do now but i was able to buy the batteries separately before i got the actual camera off of amazon last month when the creator combo was still on hold. I just got this beauty last week and loving it. Also purchased the rain/roll cover for the lens part from scotty as well but still awaiting.

You know there are slings people put the Osmo Pocket 3 in. Like my Peak Design 10L Everyday sling. I like my pockets to be loose. Thanks for the input!

Except that a Pocket isn’t really a good place for a camera of any description .

Good question. Surprisingly it does not overheat. On the @scottymakesstuff TH-cam channel there is a heat test that they conducted.

Or a Peak Design Sling to put it in, like I do. I wouldn’t put the device in my pocket if this case wasn’t around it.

You have to use the case to put it in your pocket anyway. I use the case featured here and it easily fits in a jacket pocket.

@@AndrewVanBeekOttawa I have the case for the battery extension. Definitely going in a bag it would look REALLY weird if I put it in my pants pocket 😂😂

@@itsPhillipStaples Definitely,but i will be putting mine in a rubberised protective holder and then in a Wandrd Rogue Sling. No way would i use the holder it came with as there are still issues with damaging the rotating screen when taking it out.
