The reason why it did not backlight when entry delay was happening was because your systems are low on battery. If you change the battery, it will then backlight on everything you press.

I stayed here back in June 2015 (prior to the modernization)! It was a SUPER FUN hotel.

I would set the diatance for the closest distance so everyone doesnt cut you off or if you get behind someone its not so eager to slow down so fast.

With mine, I linked it to the simplisafe app (yes, you can do that with a 1st gen.) At first it didn't work so, I had to call Simplisafe support.They'll ask you your base station ID, and your passcode. You have to create a Simplisafe account first and you need a phone number and an email address.After telling them all that, it finally connected to the app. You can control the Entry Delay, Exit Delay, Chime Volume, Siren Volume, Siren Duration, and, most importantly, no more saying 'No link to dispatch center'! No, this doesn't cost money.
