Prop firm size of the account should not be used for calculations. What is you max loss for the day. That is the true number to calculate your lot size. Prop firms love us to use the size of the account that's what gets us in trouble here. Slow and steady wins the race all in one piece with no blown account.

I'm 54 and my wife and I are VERY worried about our future, gas and food prices rising daily. We have had our savings dwindle with the cost of living into the stratosphere, and we are finding it impossible to replace them. We can get by, but can't seem to get ahead. My condolences to anyone retiring in this crisis, 30 years nonstop just for a crooked system to take all you worked for.

I live in the UK - I'm in debt from buying a lot of prop firm challenges, I take the withdraws to pay my debt off. Do I still need to pay tax? From your general knowledge.

The thing i personally get confused with is the difference between profits and earnings. If I have a personal forex account where I deposited £10,000 and after 1 year, there is £50,000 in there; I have withdrawn zero money from the account so have no income. Do I only start paying tax on money once I withdraw it and it becomes mine?

Hello Matt... Have you ever been banned by any prop firms?

Watching this video again some 3 years later - this is exactly what I did, the only difference was that I used the money from FTMO to fund multiple personal accounts rather than just the one. I personally think the prop space was the best thing ever for retail traders….never rely on them for a living, because as we’ve seen recently any of them can disappear overnight. However, if you use your prop-firm profits to fund your own accounts then it can be truly life changing.
