I just received my LE Lisa and Romy last night. I put them on and realized that LE Lisa and Merit Millennial are very similar….and LE Romy and Merit Babies are virtually the same. 🤦🏻‍♀️ I like both LE shades…but I already had them in the Merit, so no wonder. I truly don’t find the formula different enough to need both. I wish I’d gotten different shades in the Lisa. (Or that I’d seen your video sooner!!)

Great video and you got some lovely and fun purchases! I love Leahlani’s products! I’ll admit that despite the attention the Mermaid mask gets, it’s not my favorite of hers, but I do like it. For my dry skin I really like her Meli Glow mask. Honey Love is great, too. On their sit is a mini set of all three masks and I highly recommend it. I tried to get an Eadem lip balm during the sale but they were all sold out in the clear and colors I wanted, but I hope to try them soon. I’m intrigued by their serum you bought. Last minute I picked up the Alpyn Beauty mini duo of their barrier cream and lip mask. I haven’t yet tried the cream but the lip product is already a fave!

I haven't tried the new LE lipsticks, but I like her older satin lipstick. I also love the Merit satin lipstick. To me, they are very similar. I'm probably not going to get one of the LE refillable.

I do see the difference, clearly, when they're on your lips! The Merit is mauvier and the Eldridge is rosier.

I am a Merit signature lip aficionado and can tell you that aside from Millenial, it seems like the color story between the Merit and LE lipsticks is very different. For those of us who are very fair with neutral/warm and/or olive skin, the satin formula of Merit is great because the colors are easy to desaturate. For example, Baby is not only a light berry/mauve but it also has a bit of grey in it. Aside from millenial the rest of the Signature lippies are all sophisticated shades that are warm/brown based, which is amazing and hard to find from other brands. Comments that I've heard from folks with my color profile (again, very fair desaturated skin, plus neutral or neutral warm, or olive undertones) have said that Lisa's palette mostly doesn't work for them. I would LOVE to try her products, but the fact that there's no way to test them plus the shipping costs makes it too much of a risk.

Curious if you like the scent of Rosemary. I've always thought that Eucalyptus and Rosemary smell very similar, but maybe they only do to my nose 😅

I've tried many of Lisa Eldridge's products and some of them I love, others are just okay. You might love her Baume Embrace lip colors, which are more balmy/glossy. The refill on the new refillable colors pulls straight out of the holder, no twisting.

Thanks for this comparison. I'm very interested in the LE but hesitate to spend $60 on a lipstick. I will say that I have several Merit lipsticks and find that they apply beautifully at first but over the course of the day they can end up being quite drying. I believe this is because of the high silicone content. I wonder if you experienced this?

I ordered the Lisa shade too for my sister for her birthday in the gorgeous case and one for me too ;) It looks beautiful on you and we have similar berry colored lips so I hope we like it. Your video was informative and approachable/real and I love that. Oh and I tend to like balmy lipsticks much more like you do. I love the Chantecaille lip chics if you havent tried those and they have a heavenly vanilla cupcake scent. They are like the best of the best. I saw LE makes a new baume embrace that looks pretty but I havent tried it. Subscribed to your channel and will def watch more. Hugs from Atlanta. Hannah

Ur lucky u haven’t become obsessed with her products like I have- pricey but I love. The lipstick case reminds me of the 1940’s movies. Which eyeshadow pallet are u considering? I have them all including the 2 that were discontinued, lol. U might enjoy her new one (Fawn) to begin with. The eyeshadow packaging also looks vintage & beautiful. Thanks for ur honest review.

Ok, last comment - The Indie Lee, Kosas, 100 % Pure, to name a few, are all products I never would have discovered on my own - Thank you my friend for doing these reviews 🙏🌻

Facial Cleanser - I use the Tatcha Camelia Cleansing Oil. It get everything off, my face doesn't feel greasy or dry. I also use the Indie Lee Brightening Cleanser - Cleans great and smells great - refreshing !

Shower gel - I have the Kosas Sport Beachy Clean. I liked using this one in the summer, especially after exercising - it was so refreshing ! I also have 100% Pure gel in Lavender in a Pump bottle. Pump bottle is so easy to use in the shower, however wish it was glass. Finally, I also have 100 % Pure's Lavender body salt scrub...OMG ! put some on my upper chest in warm shower and feel like I'm at a spa. It smells amazing ! Like you said it's about the experience. 😀

I use the 100 % pure hand lotion - LOVE it for all of the reasons that you described. Also, have some of their body lotions. I like the Lavender and Honey Almond scents the best. Blood Orange not so much 😂

So Many things to comment on....for deodorant, have you tried "Native" Brand? I use their plastic free container deodorant. They list it as vegan & creulty-free, aluminum, paraben and phthlate-free. I like some of the scents, the way it feels and the container is cardboard ! :)

Since you asked us, some of my most repurchased products are Mahalo The Unveil Cleanser, Jordan Samuel Matinee Cream Cleanser, Paula's Choice 2% BHA (but it feels like they've changed the formula so it might not be a repurchase going forward), Acure Brightening Facial Scrub, Sachi Triphala Pigmentation Corrector, Lilfox Haute C, Kate Somerville Delikate Recovery Cream, Le Prunier Plum Beauty Oil, Lepaar Velvet Sole Lip Balm and their body oil, Twelve Beauty Hyraluroil Lip Treatment, Weleda Skin Food, Closys mouth rinse, Apagard Premio toothpaste (but I'm looking for a replacement hydroxyapatite toothpaste because I'm never sure if I'm getting an authentic product), Eco-Dent TartarGuard toothpowder, Terra & Co. dental floss. I won't list any hair care, supplements, etc., because I've gone on too long already! Sadly, some of the things I most repurchase are no longer available, and there's a whole other list of stuff I do plan to repurchase whenever I get through my backlog of products. :)

Fun! I love trying new things and it was great to get your first impressions. I’m going to check out that Gen See eyeshadow. Have you tried any RMS products? I want some of their newer products like the setting powder and SPF products, and I love the dimensional blushes, but they have both cream & powder products.
