I wrote this morning
I was sitting at a table
With some coffee to get me going
I grabbed a pen and paper
As I was thinking bout you
Writing memories down
That I will now live through
Can you tell me where to mail this
Got a card for an Angel
My love is jotted down
I don’t know if you can hear me
When I read it out loud
So I put it in my pocket
And I’m saving it for you
Seeing all of the memories

We went away on the water
Our time was just for two
You’d tell me bout the old times
Sounded so magical from you
Our Sundays were for Fishing
And waffles at noon
My tiny little fingers
Tracing your tattoos
I wish that I could mail this
