What a year 2023 was: Won the New Zealand national titles in U18, U21 and Open Men and finished #1 ranked in all three divisions too! First time anyone has done that in New Zealand.

Never seen a two hander with that much forward roll
Won’t get those on strings
New black hammer or faball enterprises black hammer
what pinsetters is this?
Awwww two handed wannabe... How does it feel Yo know you bowl like an eight year old little girl..
Amazing Ben!
Just a question do you ever have bad days in bowling?
Yup! It’s the same as every sport, everyone has good and bad days!
I always watch your videos. I would like to know how you make the path of the ball during the down swing, so please move the camera further back. It's the way you walk. Thank you.
Wow this kid throws it sick!!
Nice job Ben 😊
@@arthurr7866 Thanks Arthur
We need more videos from you 😭🔥
hi benpetitt it is tyler
@@chasebaker-wd1ju, Hi Tyler. Maybe see you at Tauranga Youth next month if you’re going
That first strike pin action was nasty ! Whoa !
How does the 78d black hammer compare to the purple hammer? Does the increased hardness make much of a difference or do they feel the same?
The harder cover makes its overall ‘hook potential’ less and it is much smoother!

Is the extreme envy good on fresh heavy oil
How does it compare to the other strong hooking balls
Quick question, is that a Furukawa Odin pinsetter? Btw you have a bright future.. 😊
Yes, Odin pinsetter. They have recently been removed and replaced.
Same ball you crushed Packy with. Must be a fan now, eh? 😉
I might have a couple of undrilled ones handy 😉
what is even the pinsetter there
It was a Furukawa Odin pinsetter but they have recently been replaced
That's my favorite house shot to play. I'd like to know how long was the oil pattern. I really liked the medium speed you had on that shot.
Arthur, as mentioned in the caption the oil pattern was 35ft long cheetah sports pattern. It’s not a house shot. Here’s a link to it: static1.squarespace.com/static/5e30a12d6f2b3e14aac6afcc/t/60aa94e1f1f34945c7ef2404/1621791970575/PBA+Cheetah+35%27+%282021%29.pdf
@@benpettitbowlingit’s a house shot when ur names Ben 😘
The last two strikes absolutely demolished those pins I swear the headpin WAS radioactive with it's movement.
Hello Ben. Just curious to know how many strikes in a row have you ever had ?
Hi Ben. Love the way those two hammers hit. I've been thinking about adding a urethane to my mix. Leaning towards the NU. Seems a bit more powerful than the Purple Hammer. Your thoughts ?
going tomorrw just got the 2.0
Just threw mine for the first time yesterday this ball is so amazing
Ben do u know If you have any negative tilt.
In this particular video I had a negative tilt axis. I’ve worked hard on it though and now have a positive tilt axis.
@@benpettitbowling what are some things you did to work on fixing it. I have it and it needs to go.
looking great! 🫡👍
Those pins are either twister or super dead pins. Twisters go all over the place and don't strike
They are Twister pins
@benpettitbowling ok thank u.
Hi ben, what layout is your thundra fire? 🔥
60 x 4 3/4 x 25 Dual Angle!
Looks good quit with the over the left eye follow thru...that should go in direction of intended target line thats an overcompensation at the bottom good vid
what is your favorite ball right now?
Definitely the purple hammer!
Envy tour solid or scorpion LF?
I prefer the Scorpion Low Flare. Both really good though! The Envy Tour is a fair bit stronger.
Do I have to do pin up or pin down when getting my bowling ball drilled? If so how much do they affect the differential ?
Do whatever you want to do that fits your game! Talk to your local PSO.
Ben Pettitt is on everybody's radar. That last segment where the stone 9 got taken out was a thing of beauty to see. Nice compilation.
Thanks Arthur. Appreciate the support but still got a lot of work to do.
You got it brother.
So what were a couple of your highlights while in the states ? I really liked that video of you taking down Packey Hanrahan.
Learning more about college bowling was great. Getting to spend a lot of time with the coaches, players and alumni and bowling at Okathe tourney and filming with Packy were other highlights.
Very good.
Hi Ben. Big fan of yours I play a House shot at 39 feet oil. I use the 31 rule and usually have an area around the 6-10 board. Which Urethane ball would you suggest ? I probably get 300-350 revs with a decent flare.
Definitely a purple hammer!
@@benpettitbowling I will take your advice and go for the Purple Hammer. Thank you.
Very nice video. Hoping to buy the NU Hammer. What are your top three Urethane bowling balls ? Looking forward to seeing you on tour eventually. With your work ethic and dedication to the sport you will do well
Top three urethane would be purple hammer, the new 78D black urethane and the pink widow urethane
@@benpettitbowling Thanks Ben. I took your advice and a pink black widow urethane ball. Tonight in practice I was very pleased with it.
My pro shop just recommended the Black Window 3.0 to me. How do you like it?
It’s really good, cleaner for a solid, so good for me after my traditional big ball like an Archetype. Really good on the house shot!
Just curious what’s your layout for this ball? I just purchased one.
55 x 5 1/4 x 30 which is also 5 1/4 x 4 x 4.
Nothing hits like a hammer, and nobody strikes like Ben Pettit!
❤
@@benpettitbowling Can you play with this ball in deep and wide hook? Looks a little in for me or it could be your oil pattern.
@@Sieze_1 The oil pattern is 45ft Dragon which meant I had to keep it tight. I can definitely swing the lane with them on the house shot!
@@benpettitbowlingThanks
Fire transitions
Bro walked left a whole 20 boards 😂
Where are you looking on the lanes when you release the ball ?
I am looking at the arrows. I target the arrows and breakpoint but at the release, I’m looking at the arrows.
@@benpettitbowling thank you 🙏🏾
What are your top 5 balls?
My current top five that may change over time are: Hammer Purple Pearl Urethane (Purple Hammer), Track Archetype, Ebonite Big Time SE, Brunswick Attitude, Track Tundra Fire
Never seen anybody tiptoe up to the line before
Seven step approach I use sometimes. I generally use 5 step and use 3 and 7 step when I feel it’ll work for me best.
Purple seems earlier and NU is longer and snappier. But those are subtle differences. Both balls are more similar than dissimilar it seems and actually can compliment each other.
Yep, those are my thoughts. When there was more carrydown the NU got a lot more controllable and less violent off the spot which was nice.
Both are long with similar backend motion. Move left and find some oil and let’s see what they do. You throw a good ball tho bro
long? long? long? do you know whats happening?
I was on 35ft, so with 25ft of no oil before the pins, I stayed as close to the gutter as possible so I could have as much control as possible. With built in friction, this also gave me more room as when I got the ball further right there was a big hook spot. They are both actually two of the earliest hooking balls I’ve ever thrown. I moved in on a house shot with the NU and it was really good!
@@benpettitbowling ok the oil pattern explains a lot now! I wasn’t trying to be over critical. If I was I apologize. You throw a good ball! Have you thrown any of the Swag balls yet?
@@dresmith2148 I appreciate it, thank you. No, I have not thrown any swag balls. I am on staff with Hammer and am loving throwing the brands of Brunswick.
What a year, what a bowler!
Thanks mate!
Very nice. Can you use a Urethane playing that angle ? I haven't been able to play that deep inside. I imagine it takes a ton of practice to master that line ?
I don’t think you can because urethane is not enough hook that depends on what oil you are planning to play on
