@@desmondajohnsonjust be more confident unless the low slow tone is your thing I ain’t hating just feeback brother nice shot tho only to I’d say is get your face lower to the cue and that ass end the cue more level with the table but hey if your way works it works I’ve just watched people struggling to advance with out those two things .

@@desmondajohnson it absolutely is. Ill tell you ive been playing for about 6 years now, for the first 2 years i spent 8 hours a day everyday practicing. You gotta learn one thing at a time and make it a habit. It all starts with a good stance, stroke, and fundamentals. You have to have a solid where you dont sway, follow that up by correctly holding the cue (stable bridge), then work on your stroking hand ( you should have a loose grip pretty much your thumb and pointer finger gripping), then after all of that you can start working on normal shots being straight on, angled etc. then you work on using english with those shots, then when you have that down you study the angles and how to utilize english to get shape, then you work on kicking and banking, then you work on patterns, then stuff like jumping and masse. Pool is extremely hard and intricate and as you play youll notice even humidity and the stiffness of the rails, tightness of pockets, and the quality of the felt will effect how you play certain shots and patterns. You gotta just go one step at a time and you cant rush it. Itll drive you absolutely nuts but when you get it all down its pretty nice

@@desmondajohnson oh and safety shots are very important when your starting off aswell. If you have a shot you think you can make explore all your options. A good safety can get you ball in hand and change the game.

@@desmondajohnson wear a glove if you want to. It’s only there to keep a smooth stroke. The main thing is practice of fundamentals. Tons of videos about that. Then its repeat, repeat, and repeat. Shane Van Boening posted a quote from Bruce Lee “I fear not the man who has practiced 10,000 kicks once, but I fear the man who has practiced one kick 10,000 times.” Best of rolls to you!
