Diesel Apprentice Toolbox Tour
มุมมอง 8Kปีที่แล้ว
Toolbox tour of my blue point tool cart as an upcoming diesel apprentice.
How is the tool box cart holding up? I hear the garage style door fails.
It held up really good, for the time I had it. I upgraded not even a month later to a classic series snap on, sometimes the garage door will get stuck once in a blue moon.
I am up in Alaska and out of high school soon. I am going to be a diesel tech apprentice.
sick box man
Wow diesel lube tech!!!
You’re going to be a great lube tech
Being a dick for no reason
Nice tour, Thanks for sharing! When you said by the sockets that there just metal, I think that applies to a toolbox, not the sockets.😀
Blow your fu&king nose
Blow your bloody nose
Love your video, so neat to see what you get, and what you paid!!
Shut up
I apologize, I was recently arguing with my bitch of a wife and did not mean to redirect my anger towards you. I hope you can accept my apology Mr. Boer, god bless🙏
Impressive kit for a 6mo apprentice! Glad to you shying away from the tool trucks. Their time will come as your skills improve.
Where you starting at? I just finished my first week at Ryder doing fleet and it was fun. Did a lot of firsts: using the acetylene torch to cut brake chamber springs (safety reasons before tossing out), using a 10 ton air jack & 1" air gun to change tires on a trailer, and driving a semi + trailer around the yard to name a few. Good luck with the new job. Nice setup. 👍 I need to do an update video but I'm not done 'moving in' so-to-speak. 😂 I have the Cornwell Power Cart, but I realized I need a cart to work off of so I ordered the Jeg's slide top cart yesterday.
I’m starting at a local shop in my town, only 6 bays and pretty laid back.
very nice longer In depth tour.
You’ll need some 3/4 tools for some heavy stuff
It’s funny how they skip 18 but give you a 20 lol
They also skip 20, I have the 21 in the 20 spot
@@JoesGarage03 it’s just I’ve never used a 20mm socket but 18mm is some what used on freightliners idk about Mack or peterbuilt because I only work on freightshakers lol but yeah 18 it’s kinda something you’d want in a set. I use 20mm wrench all the time becuase it’s a nice fit to grab the side of the 90*air fittings off of the brake can
A lisle tool strap wrench is helpful for tight engine oil and fuel filters.
Cool video
Lug nuts are going to be 33mm mostly bud wheels also get slack adjuster tools and a big pry bar
Big pry bar 36” minimum preferrably a 45-58”
33mm is the most common semi truck lug nut size. Super single lug nuts are 1 1/2 i believe. Those are typically used with a shop supplied 1 inch drive two handled inpact wrench.
1-5/16 and 33mm are very VERY close to each other good enough bud
@@Tcorellis-j6d I was talking about bud wheels
Surprised how little you can get by with. I always feel under tool'd
You committed several sins during this video. I could only make it 3 minutes in until I could feel my blood pressure rise. HOW DARE YOU USE A DISGUSTING, VILE, UNWORTHY CONTRAPTION LIKE A MILWAUKEE WITH THE GOD SEND MASTERFORCE BITS. This act you committed is comparable to vehicular manslaughter. In some countries, this could give you the death sentence, you've been warned Mr. Joe
Thanks Tim For the response, after this video I had return all of my Milwaukee tools and got all Masterforce line tools. I had forgotten how quality Masterorce was and I am truly sorry for your high blood pressure.
Thank you for the video.
I hope you’re kidding or are you a tool purest
