My 2 sons had ADHD, one with specific learning disabilities. He was the most hyper child I have ever seen. He started very young, he started walking at 7 months, and he never stopped running. He graduated high school, and also college. That is impressive as he had disgraphia. He can not spell even simple words. He tested in the top 3 percent on I Q test. He won an award for set design while in college and was in the top three in the country. His son is also ADHD but it's well controlled with medication. He makes very good grades in school.

Great info, although you may want to edit that only psychologists do PCIT as I am a mental health practitioner/social worker and we do this all the time. Also psychologists can do therapy, but a lot of them are focused on research, assessment or short term therapy. This is a common misconception.

This describes so many 'normal' children. There is far too much diagnosis of this in England and the kids seem to grow into that diagnosis. As you said, just because it looks like ADHD doesn't mean to say it is.

I’m not exactly sure if i have adhd or possibly something else but i always forget what i was going to do and always lose my things even though i just had something in my hand a second ago. Im always fidgeting and tend to pick my skin when im anxious or overwhelmed. I move around a lot, like when my family is eating dinner I’ll be spinning around/twirling 😅 I have a lot of mood swings and get angry over the littlest things extremely fast. I get overwhelmed doing simple tasks as well. There are prob other things but that is what I can think of for now. Edit: I also always speak before I think and then blurt out things that seemed funny in my head but once I say them people get offended cus they were rude

None of this video has convinced me it exists. There is no blood test or brain scan or anything like that, it’s purely diagnosed by symptoms, and those symptoms are so incredibly vague that you could diagnose just about every kid in America in this modern setting.
