Can u make tutorial about how to install and code fog lights ?

Why not inject the audio coming out of the amplifier back to the harness so you don’t have to rewire? Is it because of the cable thickness?

Thanks so much for this video. I looked for a long time for something like this. Most people just show the end result but no one shows how to access the multimedia unit. The next question is where did you get the harness from and which wires have the speakers signal? Hope you can answer this soon.

What did you think about the upgrade? I’ve got a 24 VW GTI and I’m looking at tunes and intakes and Unitronic is on the list for contenders on which tune to get . Thank you also Ryan because I bought a Harmon Kardon upgrade from you and ACM Technik and it has been amazing. Anyone who has a VW needs to check out what they are selling. It’s all incredible!!!

How do you get the headlight switch out? Just pry with plastic trim tools? Does that part require coding at all? (Really want the Golf R poor weather lights on the GTI instead of the beloved fog lights...)

I was looking at their install pdf and it didn't make mention of a rubber gasket.

I literally did the same thing, was there for 5-10 minutes trying to pull the stock one out until I slapped my forehead and said “take off the damn turbo inlet elbow” 😂 I got the EVAP code though smh

Nice job, mate, but crap that's a whole lot of work, splicing and tearing things apart. It's a pity with all the silly gadgetry on even the S trim Mk8, they didn't include a real TPMS. Note that I say real, because the so-called "indirect" approach doesn't actually measure tire pressure and can't tell you want it actually is. Anyhow, nicely done and I love the results.

Is also like to know if the wiring harness can be bought. You said in the video you made it. Where did you get the connector ends from? Is there a wiring schematic of the infotainment unit you can share that shows colouring for all the speakers and any trigger?

Kind of sucks to do this on a brand new car. MK8 has been on out for a couple years now and it seems like VW have no fix on this thing yet. Heard about the engine plastic cover problem as well. That is why I can’t get myself to purchase a GTI, been staying with Honda/Acura, Toyota and Subaru brand of cars.

I've bought some aftermarket Euro style tail lights, but I can't get them installed cuz I'm missing the harness. Can you help me out with this issue? I don't know what to do or what to buy in order to install the tail lights. Kind regards!

you realize that the entire airbox could have been removed without taking it apart first right? lol

I was just at the APR site looking at the Turbo Muffler Delete and on their site it makes no mention of the silicone pipe or the 2 clamps that you said it comes with @1:38 APR has 13 pictures of the turbo muffler and no where does it show that silicone pipe or clamps...what's up with that? Could it be that APR threw it in with the Turbo Delete for you to showcase?

Hey Anthony. I bought a mk8 gte from a official vw dealership and in the proposal they gave me, where all the equipment was listed, they listed ACC. Picked up the car and there’s no ACC. They say it was a mistake and that my version does not allow for weconnect upgrade or to install it in any way. What do you think?

Thank you for posting these videos about the MK8, the euro retro fit dynamic tail lights are beautiful and I’m going to be installing these on my 23 MK8. I was wondering you seem like a pretty knowledgeable guy when it comes to these, have you looked into how we can possibly retro fit the front IQ Headlights and either by wiring harness or ballast be able to make the front DRLs that light up amber for the front blinkers to be Dynamic or Sequential to match the rear tail lights and dynamic mirror signals? Do you think we have the software possible and it’s something that needs to be long coded on a VCS or OBDeleven? I know the MK7 had retro fit Helix LED headlights that made it possible for those. I’m interested to see if you’ve found anything about that or maybe plan to. It would be so sick to have all 3 lights in sync, tail light blinkers, Mirror light blinkers, and the head light DRL blinkers.

Getting this kit soon, my subframe was making weird noises, it’s the OEM bolts. Would you also get a subframe brace to go with the 034 kits? Racinglines brace kit ?
