@@NachtsUmZwei I strongly advice for you to go there and use Platinum version. It has all bugs fixes, speed issue fixed, all tracks and cars included including fan mades, and some kind of community support. I can see why you're asking. It's true that there's some kind of missing frame there. But no, this is the original vidéo from the run. Streamed live on Twitch then exported here. The Ghost file is available to other POD players too.

I don't like how Fuego behaves on that jump,.so I tried Shark. It feels easier to jump to me. And I can deal with the additionnal hardship of driving Shark in these dark Woods ;)

@@Podrob ce qui est dingue c'est que 25 ans plus tard, très peu de jeux couvrent ce type de challenge. Simple en théorie, ultra technique en pratique. Quelle belle époque

This is the real thing tho... POD provides great driving experience with great physics for the time (late 90's) and for that type of arcade racing game.

Clipping occurs on a regular basis in POD. Not always voluntary. Just by going for tight wall hugs for example, like here. This makes avoiding those clipping or camera glitches quite hard. If this was considered glitches, playing glitchless would be very difficult... On Burrow it's just camera glitches, the car isn't going through walls...

​@@PodrobAh, ok. I thought the game had that kind of collision detection where if you press against a wall you get accelerated beyond normal speeds.

Bah j'ai repris le jeu depuis presque 3 ans mais au début je ne songeais même pas en rêve à tapper des records. Je faisais juste des vidéos de chaque track, en ramant pour m'approcher des bons temps. Puis finalement en jouant régulièrement (+/- 2 soirs semaine) les sensations sont revenues. Puis les temps m'ont semblés de plus en plus à portée de main, même si certains semblaient hors d'atteinte vu l'input lag qui semblait inévitable. En parallèle Ray (le taulier du Discord) a continué à améliorer POD Platinum. Si bien qu'on s'est approché de plus en plus des performances en jeu que l'on pouvait avoir autrefois avec une config musclée. Effaçant de plus en plus les sensations de lag qui pouvaient demeurer à cause de l'usage du GlideWrapper. Et finalement maintenant POD tourne très bien, le bonhomme a retrouvé les sensass et voilà ça geek les vieux records 😁 Algor est même en train de se refaire la main sur Alderon. Forcément je lui pique tous ses records, je lui tends la.perche 😅
