The Appalling Conditions of The Charminar Parking
My recent visit to Charminar along with a friend left me so embarrassed to see the absolutely pathetic situation at the Charminar Parking.
There is absolute filth and garbage spread all over the place.
The entry is choked with rubbish and vehicles parked in a haphazard manner.
This is the jewel of our CIty and attracts so many visitors.
Keeping it clean and orderly is vital for the local economy.
Hope the civic authorities wake up and do the needful.

Looks like watching all the mad traffic on the roads, the buffaloes have also adopted the same manner of running around. Very lucky that the truck driver was not speeding and paying attention. Things could have gotten really nasty for everyone on the road.

Well done by the driver of the car with Dashcam. Exactly what I would have done. Slow down and possibly allow the truck to complete its turn. If we are say 50 meters away it always makes sense. The tanker, bus, and the i10 - all are a liability on our roads. It is a typical Indian and two-wheeler mentality to squeeze in those gaps; as though the drivers who slow down are idiots.

Absolutely correct. Everyone behaves like a selfish mafia don (Dawood) on the roads. A little bit of understanding and mutual respect is all that is needed for reducing accidents and ensuring comfortable driving for all, but our selfishness defeats it all. In this case, all the vehicles had to do was to stop and let the bus complete its turn. This is what people in developed countries do.
Bus and i10 may not have the vision for sure and may be well above braking speed, if you see lorry driving at that speed the once behind them surely may not know the otherside.

Have they fixed it already? I thought of moving to PBel, but I like to have a peaceful sleep. The freaking generator seems to be very noisy.
