Hey im having a serious issue with my replace color tool when i try to change the color of something in a image it seems to saturate to max and i have been trying blue but it goes blue and it ends up blue with red small dots all around it can someone help me out i also have it full color mode RGB but it is just messing everything up need help!.

I am new to cs5 I have been following some tutorials but it seems that I can not change any color it always go for white to grey ? is the color can be locked ?

How come when I select the object the preview is solid black? Like my profile icon, for example.

I totally loved this video. It helped this old lady tremendously as I struggle to learn how to use the software. I would like to be able to use the wizard tool to select all areas that are black as I am using a logo with a company name that's all in black and want to change different letters/photos. BUT, here's my question ... rather than using the slider tool, can I use CMYK codes?

It turned out quite good for demo purposes, but for real it's best for viewers to know that they should use the plus eyedropper to click on the apple in more places to make a fuller selection as you missed bits of the apple out at the bottom.

Make sure you are in full color mode. (Image > Mode > RGB)

I'm having the same issue as WizardPharoh, and my Colorize checkbox is definitely selected. The problem is that when I slide the saturation bar, it only creates color around the black border of the item, rather than the while inside. Nothing I do colorizes the white body of the item.
