Ty. ! We have had this girl over 13 yrs. ( as I'm sure you know) thats pretty darn old for a female. She's had a good lifespan. This is the most active you'll see her these days 😀 ..... she no longer even eats on her own ( lighting/ etc is fine trust me). Have tried every single food, insects worms, salads etc... Vet says just most likely getting towards end of her life. We've tried appetite Stimulant s etc as well.. Her body is just wore out. She's old and tired. However even with soaks full electrolytes, vits, etc.. And syringe feeding supplements. Sure she is missing nutrients.. nothing like her old diet 😞 She lost alot of muscle as well. I fight to just keep her hydrated. Vet says believes she's not in any pain. That crooked tail ( in case you are concerned) has been there since she was teenie Tiny !! Tail got caught in something at pet store before I adopted her. Thank you for being so helpful & caring :)

Hello! I just wanted to pop in and give some advice. Your dragon looks to have the very beginning stages of MBD (metabolic bone disease). The reason why I say this is because of the way they’re walking and the back legs are starting to curve forwards. They aren’t supposed to be shaky on their legs like this. I know it’s hardwood floor so it isn’t the best traction but even on slippery floor they should definitely not wobble like that. I have done a lot of research on proper husbandry and care for a bunch of different reptiles! So I’m really only trying to help :) if you catch it right away it won’t be able to progress and get worse. If you aren’t providing linear UVB I would highly suggest doing so. It should stretch out half to 2/3 of the enclosure leaving a bit on the cool side without UVB. Arcadia Pro T5 12% is a great option. So is Zoo Med T5 HO 10.0. If you are providing them coil/compact UVB unfortunately these do not provide adequate amounts of UVB a beardie needs. Without the proper amount of UVB they can’t absorb the calcium in their diet and will draw it from the bones. If you aren’t already I highly recommend dusting their daily salad with calcium without D3 from Zoo Med and use with D3 1 time a week. Reptivite from zoo med is a multivitamin and I would recommend to give this at least every 10 days. Best of luck 💚
