Tip for new players: if you’re being chased by a hoard of infected, climb on top of a car/hay bale, etc. They can’t get you while you’re up there, but you can still look down and swing on them and take them out one by one.

To make it even more immersive, you should disable your hud completely. No markers, no timer at the top of the screen, no ammo counter, nothing.

DayZ does it better. fights are random, chosen, and rewarded realistically based on player actions.

the difference is call of duty is an arcade shooter and hell let loose is a war sim.

I played this Hell Let Loose on Xbox and it was so buggy it wasn’t loading into matches and when it would I was instantly kicked from the match this is when it first came out tho but I do like insurgency Sandstorm

tarkov is like this but you dont even know who is your teammate and who isnt

I prefer this vs. the modern and long-standing age of Call of Duty. 3 lanes to cover, and it's just jumping into the blender. No hitbox or on-screen confirmation of your kill would feel so different.
