If i attacked my opponent he/she than plays a spell/trap card to save their monster from being destroyed or to negate my attack, can I than play Face-off to negate that spell/trap card?

From where did you get that you can activate honest during the last sub-step of damage step (better know as damage calculation), but not lance or limiter removal?

You should at least run a bounzer or something, you'll definitely get two horse prince out and that card puts in work

@ 11:08 I believe the atk change affects the whirlwind search. by the time whirlwind resolves Sirocco will only have 1300atk, so the effect will search for 1200 or less based on the altered attack. Review the resolution of whirlwind after blizzard is summoned: the special of lvl4 or lower from blizzard's normal occurs first, then the search occurs. thus, we can infer that whirlwind's effect resolves like any other, and in that situation (according to game mechanics) whirlwind will resolve last
