No. I use Dimarzio Tone Zone for the bridge and a Dimarzio Humbucker from Hell for the neck.

I use the Line 6 HX Effects. In the unit I have an IR assigned so I can just run direct without using an amp. I use the plate reverb and sometimes a delay that comes with the HX Effects.

I’m going from the guitar into the pugilist which is going into the Line 6 HX Effects via its send and return and then straight into my Universal Audio Volt interface that is going into my computer. In the Hx effects I am using an IR.

As someone who owns both of those pedals, I can assure you there is more at play here to that killer tone 😅

@@jeremyt4292 Hahaha thanks. Yeah I use the HX Effects to add plate reverb, 2 EQ's, Tubescreamer ts808, and an IR called BreakingBenjamin_Follow_L_IR (Not sure where I found it, it was free). I show all the EQ, reverb, and delay settings in the video. I think towards the end.

It’s funny cause a year ago I was trying to replace my Marshall JMP-1 ( just fear of its age and possibly not working sometime soon) and went through a ton of pedals with no satisfaction. I found the Fender Pugilist and just passed on it. A year later and I decided to give it a try. Needless to say, I sold the JMP-1 and am now satisfied. It has a very similar character as the Marshall JMP-1. At least the way I had it set. Thank you for watching.

You're welcome. No, it doesn't have neck dive. It is a pretty solid guitar for the price. I'd say only thing is the usual for a guitar at this price range and that is setting intonation, fret filing, and depending on the shape of the guitar when you get it, strobed neck. @@biggkoz yes this is a different version. The version on Pure Retrowave 3 is the original. For this version Michael Oakley sings the verse. Some parts were also chopped down so it is shorter as well. Also it was mixed and mastered again. Michael Oakley mixed it and Pete Maher mastered it. Overall it’s still the same song vocally (aside from Oakley singing the verse parts), lyrically, melodically, and musically. I love that you noticed the difference.
