I remember seeing Bon Iver live in summer 2018. The concert took place in a antic Roman theater in Lyon, I've booked a luxury hotel room above this theater so i could hear Justin doing his sound settings during a hot lovely afternoon, birds were singing along. I've been to lots of concerts and shows, no one made me feel so free and out of my mind, a real living moment of peace. I remember how tired I felt after the show, how grateful and mindblown by a pure masterpiece. I stayed 30 minutes after the end of the show contemplating the scene realizing I made a dream came true.

If you are in the audience, of any gig, do not try to keep time by clapping, let the artist control the rythm, it just ruins songs, if you think your timing is that good, join a band as a drummer, otherwise, just listen.

I was in the crowd. One of the best concerts I’ve ever been to. Pure magic. They held a rowdy Saturday night festival crowd in the palms of their hands. You could hear a pin drop.

it's kinda mindblowing that basically just two years before he played a set on one of the largest and prestigious festivals in the world, he was an unsuccessful musician with severe depression and heart-break who just self-released an album he recorded in a cabin.
