เข้าร่วมเมื่อ 10 ก.ย. 2020
The Gastroenterology Foundation of South Africa was established in 2006 with the aim of contributing towards the continuing medical education of medical and surgical Gastroenterologists and Hepatologists. Shortly after the inauguration of the Foundation, our focus turned to include all fellows training in Gastroenterology and Hepatology including medical, surgical and paediatric fellows. In addition we encourage and contribute to the funding of research in these fields.

Thanks for sharing such valuable information! Could you help me with something unrelated: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (air carpet target dish off jeans toilet sweet piano spoil fruit essay). How should I go about transferring them to Binance?
Thank you very much Dr Shamhu. Very informative comprehensive and well done
Excellent lecture 😊
Dr Nishlin Naidoo is truly most compassionate doctor I have met. He treated my mother and saved her life. She had stage 4 case. Wits has really trained these surgeons well❤
One of the other options could be PVE and systematic therapy with Lenvitanib for 6-8 weeks. How about that ?
thank you

You looked interesting I wanted to watch it but I just cannot understand that we're just saying
An excellent discussion on the subject of treatment for HCC in low& middle income regions. Though I don’t understand why the experts have not talked about the other curative treatment ie resection other than transplant for HCC. Both Bridging and down-staging is also applicable to this mode of treatment just as for transplantation.
I have analysed your TH-cam channel, I have watched all your videos, your channel has great quality content, but still it is not serving the right audience due to SEO issues. I noticed the problem with your channel is that your title-description- are not SEO friendly, invalid metadata. Video tag are not used, Channel tags are not used, low video views, limited audience engagement, stagnant channel growth, etc. If you want I can do a free TH-cam channel audit for you for your better understanding.
❤❤❤
Pls do more videos on ibd
Very good guide line.
HI ,Dr Bilal Bobal, do you maybe have an email address. I would just like to speak to you about my moms liver ,she was one of your patients in 2016,Thank you Donna Bailie
One more thing in regard to the man who asked the question Re multivitamins, I would suggest click as run a full blood test for ALL nutrients , vitamins minerals , as alluded to in above comment , we are all highly deficient across the board in many nutrients because most of us wait years for diagnosis
I would add that as a member of a support group for people with pernicious anaemia that often times the neurological features present early expecially memory loss and mood changes and aphasia . Most importantly gluten sensitivity is common , tests will show negative for celiac disease but many have better quality of life removing gluten from diet . The symptoms thats till remain with monthly injections that are improved are dyspepsia , digestive issues , neuropathy, skin issues to name a few . Prescribing HCL or digestive enzymes should be mandatory as the injection does not correct low stomache acid .also using probiotics helps with correcting the malabsorption of other nutrients which comes from low stomache acid and or H pylori altering the bacterial microbiome. I’m glad you made this video , it should be compulsory for all GP’s . *****I would also add that most people in our support group are under 50 , so please do not dismiss younger people , I was diagnosed in my early 20’s . the reason we have support groups for PA groups is because just giving an injection does not heal the symptoms-of pernicious anaemia , in early days before injections there was only diet. Th high liver meat diet . I don’t think it was “just the B12 “ that cured patients , it was the nutrient dense liver itself that flooded the body with all the nutrients it was missing after years of malabsorption ……..
My daughter 7 years affected with disease
Nice , thanks
Keep educating us Docs
The Hepatitis B vaccine, injected into newborns, causes cancer or warts. It's time to face the gallows.
I have Hepatocellular Cancer, also Liver Cirrhosis, not a Drinker, Genetics and Trucker Diet. At my Biopsy the ambulated the Tumor, they are getting me ready for going non the list, I was told that they would take care of both issues at once, there will be a short waiting period

I have upper right pain, tender, but no gallstones found. They keep finding the air there but nothing else. Pain, but no other symptoms. No one knows what it is, why it’s there, or what to do about it.
Hey. By any chance, did you get further information on your diagnosis, do you still have the abdominal pain? I am interested in this as for 3 months I've had abdominal pain in the gallbladder area. MRI showed Pneumobilia in common bile duct. No other symptoms though, bloodwork doesn't show inflamation, no stones. No prior surgery. Pain and air pockets appeared. Cannot diagnose why. Hepatologists say it might lead to problems or might not, but no clear route of treatment.
Thanks so much Vikash. A great overview of the site @VikashLala
Muito bom!!!!👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Can atrophic gastric metaplasia be reversed?
I got same issue
NSAIDs can cause gastric ulcers, yet they are protective against gastric cancer...an interesting paradox.
I was diagnosed with the same thing, +helycobacter pylori. Did you get an answer ?? AG and IM can be reversed?
@A.R.B.5079 those likely can be reversed, once it gets to dysplasia, it's a waiting game for cancer.

We certainly welcome the idea that in the developing countries where transplantation is scarcely available liver resection for the intermediate stage BCLC be an option and hopefully cost less than TACE/TARE. Studies from Eastern countries Korea, Japan, Hong Kong has shown long term survival for resection of large HCC ( multi-nodular or up-to 10cm ) in cirrhotics with both HBV & HCV.
Though FLOT is definitely more effective in proximal tumors as well as Siewert 2,3 tumors, how about antral tumors, is the evidence strong enough to go ahead with a more toxic regimen ?
