Curious about the best way to export your tracks before mastering? In this video, our CTO Simon shows how versatile Masterchannel is. He starts by mastering a mix with proper headroom, then a track that's already been mastered by a human engineer. The best part? Masterchannel can enhance any track, making it the ideal tool for a final quality check! masterchannelai www.tiktok.com...

Matoma on how to prepare your mix for mastering
I love this. I would be worried if I were a mastering engineer though 😂
haha, no worries! Good engineers will still have a job :)
You explained everything really well and thanks for sharing. I will remember these good tips.
Thanks for the feedback! Highly appreciate it! If you have any other topic you'd like us to cover, feel free to let us know 🙏
Thanks for this! I'm experimenting with different final edits to see how Masterchannel handles them. Often boosting the bass before I put a track through Masterchannel makes it sound closer to what I had in mind. I haven't tried leaving plenty of headroom though - so I'll be trying that out this week! 😘🥰💖🌈🦄✌
Great to hear! And your way of experimenting is the best way to use our service as people have different environments, plug-ins and so on. So look forward to hearing what you think after leaving more headroom :)
I have been using your service for many months now. There are some with similar service, but your service in particular, no one can master, because the result is absolutely the best on the market. Of course, I don't reveal how I do my mixes before I upload them for mastering. But happy to share a song directly to everyone who is just mastered with the best service on the market. th-cam.com/video/FPAWwR4jtYg/w-d-xo.html
I really like the result of your Ai mastering!
leavemealone ;)
mm, thats quite neat. yeah that makes sense since higher frequency is more sound waves hitting your ear per second so it feel like more sound.
Really useful advice. I think the main one is around fatigue so having a break from listening is important and going back to listen to the mix as a whole will help issues jump out at you. Understanding frequencies boggles my mind!
Yes, having breaks are important cause we humans can't perform 24/7. And we also need other inputs if we are to perform better. But yeah, frequencies can be a mess, but we fixes a lot of those issues automatically with our AI service - without making it sound artificial :)
thank for the video and the explinations of you're ai, its always nice to see under the hood so to speak.
Glad that you found it useful :)
useful and good tips thumbs up and a follow , one can never learn to little. or as i say every day you learn something no matter what it may be , its a good day. thanks for the video :)
Thanks for the nice words, and if you'd like us to explain something else, feel free to send us a message :)
Thank you! 😘🥰💖🌈🦄✌
Happy to see that you like it!
No problem
i don't know what is this video or service, but don't say "many top tier artists and a hundred of records", say on which ones, at least a couple and some source where is it written (e.g. cd notes or any other notes)
Hi, our engineer Simon holds a patent in 3d based mastering from Fraunhofer and has mastered music for Tyler Ward, Saint Weekend+++ you can find more info here: credits.muso.ai/profile/0ce03a05-87dc-4934-b0c1-a01b53e18747 In addition he's the main developed behind Masterchannel, which as of now, have been used to amster over 300,000 songs.
True in theory, but not in reality.
You should test it out here, and you'll probably be pleasantly surprised: masterchannel.ai/upload
This should be one longer video, I'd love to hear more
That is noted, as we are looking into creating more of these! 🎶
About removing all volume "enhancers".. is this true only for the master or also for any compression added to single instruments (or channel) in an arrangement?
Thanks for your question! Please turn it off on the master bus only. You can leave compression enabled on single instruments/channels 🙂
@@masterchannelai Thanks! Another question - should the pre-master track be exported with or without normalization? Thanks
@@aryrupp If your mix does not peak above 0 dBFS, there is no need for normalization. If you are unsure, you can export with normalization enabled to play it safe!
Ayyyy! So helpful to keep that in mind!! Great input!
Amazing! So cool!
